As far as I understand, Ethereum brings more value than BitCoin because it supports smart contracts and each project is built upon Ethereum. MobileGo, Cryptokitties, Multitoken, and others. So, my point is why is BTC worth more? Is there a possibility ETH will overcome BTC later?

Yes I agree with this bitcoin is more expensive than ETH because as far as I know bitcoin will starting it for a long long time and eth will be next options of the cryptocurrency otherwise the ethereum will be mostly needed of bounty campaign upon the organizations will be decide.

Your understanding is different from reality dude, better check out the coin market cap website and you'll understand
why Bitcoin's price is higher than Ethereum and you'll do the math on it. Even if Ethereum supports smart contract
creation it doesn't mean that it will be on the top higher than Bitcoin because spoken words are far different from the
facts of reality that is currently happening. Bitcoin's overall dominance in the whole cryptocurrency world is 53.9% as
the time typing this while Ethereum is 8.81% which clearly shows what coin is most used and what coins is really
dominating this industry.

the number of supplay is far different. fewer bitcoin and more ethereum. besides, the first coin used is bitcoin.

Everyone already knows the facts about bitcoin is the parent of all crypto coins and the reality is that bitcoin is more popular for people for investment than eth or other crypto coins.

No no man. Ethereum don't brings more value than BTC. BTC is a unique overall. Everything calculate with BTC in market as crypto starts with BTC. You see every pairs in market connected with BTC. If you see coin market cap when BTC price fall other tokens price also fall. So dont underestimate BTC.

Short answer is that Bitcoin has already built a strong or solid community way before Ethereum was created. It is that community that keeps it the King of Cryptocurrency. For Eth to be overtaking BTC, the platform has to be able to solve its major issues and of course overtake XRP first ;D

Point of correction, each peoject was not built on ethereum platform, please do your research properly. As it stand at the current coinmarketcap ranking, ethereum is down to number 3 position by market volume, and Btc will remain ahead of ETH because Btc has been the driven force (ie. prices) to every coins and it is the first coin that was invented by Satoshi Nakamoto.
Secondly, there are no possibilities that ETH will overtake or overcome BTC now or in the future. If you check the marketcap, volume and price, you may understand that both coins are too far from each other at all level. Thanks

Definitely, you're correct there! ;D some people in here need to research a lot before posting and arguing with their
points of view that doesn't match with the fact of reality.

Ask a person on the street what Ethereum is... I'm sure most will give you a blank stare. However I'd say most people know about Bitcoin. It was the first crypto and has the first-mover advantage. I'd agree ETH provides more value, but I don't see Ethereum taking over any time soon.

Chances happening this is huge. Eth has yet to show what they are hiding on their sleeve while bitcoin already shown what their platform capable off. Eth still developing a lot of helpful apps and features to ease the conflict on scalability and others flaws.

Ethereum a good coin. I think its future is a lot better. Now the price is very low because many are holding it. I think it's going to increase a lot later. So you can buy it now without delay.

The BTC is the foundation of crypto as Satoshi chose that as his first love. Its very true the ETH has lots of uses but BTC has market fame and its patronage is impeccable. I do not see the ETH overthrow the BTC any time soon

I don't think ETHZ has more users than Bitcoin, it only obvious that Ethereum platform are mainly used by new start up to build on their projects.

A third reason would be that Bitcoin more commonly accepted. Bitcoin has become the primary method of payment in some countries while Ether has not. You can actually make purchases with Bitcoin which makes it more useful to most consumers.

It is about how huge bitcoin gained such respect as the main coin in crypto. It is also used in more ways and have advantages that none in ethereum. I know ethereum is potential, maybe in the future it will overcome bitcoin in case there something inside corruptions.

The fact that Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency created thats why but if you'll ask me on this. If you teach a new person in cryptocurrency, what would you tell him? Of course Bitcoin, but if Etherium proves its wide use case and adopted by many companies, I'm very sure ETH will overcome BTC.
