It really depends on which type is more suitable to you. Short term trading might give you the possibility of more trades but more trades can also means more losses will be incur. Long term trading offer you the luxury of set and forget maybe an occasion monitor of the price is just what it needed.

I think you got the short trade on your favor. But i think short time trading may be risky but profitable if you get always on your touch. On the other hand long term investment can change your life .Just think about ethereum one day it was 02/03 $ but where it has gone so far . It has changed many people life .Actually trading is always so tough either its short or long so that you need to follow particular strategy .That's why you have to learn trading .

I agree short term investment can be easy but you must have the time to monitor your short term trade
Long term trading is more to less stress and less time
However to be good in either of it you must know what you are doing and not be greedy when you are winning and revengeful when you are losing.

I think given the current state of the crypto market, long term investment would suffice to be the best .
Hodling for longer period will give the investors 0eace of mind and a high return on investment.

I think in whicjever type of investment you choose, it all depend on the area you are good at. I like both long term and short investment because i have some experience.
Short-term investments offer a way of increasing your profit on assets that you need to remain more liquid as a hedge against future problems.
In long-term investing there are no hassles about learning different trading styles or platforms since you won't be an "active trader."etc.

I don't have time to trade daily, but the power continues to see crypto market capitalization, being a trader requires a lot of time and I think now there will be many new investors who can enliven the market, I am waiting for the crypto market to be as crowded as in 2017

Actually both form of investments are risky , none is riskier than the other.
I prefer going for long term investment than short term .
This steems from the fact that I have confidence in the Cryptocurrency market and again, long term investment would more than likely bring me a good return on investment.

Both have risks and no guarantees, but if you know how to earn money from trading or investment very well, it will be profitable for you. I personally do both short and long term. An it is applied for trading and also investment.

Thanks only thing is that in long term investment, an investor do not need to keep checking the market condition everything and be scared of the out come while in short term, an investor seem to have that impulse to always peep into the market toknow the condition of his investment.

Just think we should make long term for TOP 10 coinmarketcap and short term for other or ICOs. Crypto market is cold, so it is the best strategy for us!

Yea, i think are your right, and on short and long term investment, everyone has his or her plans depending on individuals technical know how.
We actually have choice of coins we may want to trade, and the reasons for trading on them are best known to us. Some of these reasons could also be based on individual strategies.

i think the short trade is better. the long term is shit. can you believe that coins i bought last year are still on my waiting list. the long trade is quite not working for me. i use to get trade from a professional but i have manage to sell out one only.

I think seeing the current market conditions is still not stable, for us, we will prefer to invest in the long term, because I am also sure we will also get more profits by waiting for better market prices.

You are right to say that short term invest is like a hit and run case. However you might miss big moves and more monitoring is needed compare to long term investment whereas long term investment after you confirm your target it can also be a set and forget scenario.

I still maintain that to determine whether to go for long or short term investment some factors must be put into consideration such as...how soon an investor would be needing cash, what coin to buy intoetc.If the investors would be need cash in a short while , then going for shirt term investment is better.

It's true that short-term trading or hit and run is a good option to be able to collect profits slowly, but it also does not rule out the possibility of being able to avoid risk because basically all types of trade will have risks to be faced.

In my own opinion from here we are going to sideways and have slow upside movement during the remaining period of the year.
So I think that now it is good time take long positions in the industry either by investing directly in BTC, ETH, various projects with low cap and have long term LONG position on a leverage on platforms like primexbt or bitmex.
Other thing we should keep in mind is that the daily volume is very good and with the expectations from institutions like Fidelity and Bakkt soon to open the gates for institutional money is quite positive. I expect in the next two years the volume to pick quite a lot and therefore the price to follow. We are talking about big money and by the end of 2020 we should achieve the price of 20k per btc and in 2021 towards 2022 we should get pass it by quite a lot.

That will depend on the type of coin you will invest because not all coins will be suitable for the long term or short term.

some might say otherwise, there is danger in trading short term same as there is dangerous trading long term each style of them has its own pros and cons, some will favor short-term trading and others will favor longer-term trading at the end everyone will trade the way he feels comfortable with it.

Yes long term investment is risky especially if you invested in a shitcoin which doesn't do something new, but at the same time it can bring you a really bih profit if you have chosen the right one.

You really have to get into technical analysis if you have to trade seriously. I agree with long term investment is just as or more dangerous than short term due to price volatility.
Holding coins/tokens are somehow risky but you have to be in the right opportunity to be succesful with it goodluck mate

Both short term and long term are dangerous, but...
short term = lower risk = low gain
long term = higher risk = high gain
but if you really know what you are investing in and you think it's good your are in the good side of making a profit,

for me it also depends on the Altcoin you invest, if the altcoin you hold doesn't have a long profit for me, I also choose investment in a short time, so I don't think I will lose your altcoin too.

Short term investment is good for day traders that has a full understanding of how the market moves and when/when not to buy/sell. Long term trade in another good but dangerous form of investment. The long term investment is not for people of greedy nature, so as not to loss your capital at the end. In conclusion, either of the investment methods should be taken in preference of the investor.

I have a lot of coins become a long term investment from 2018.After the market went down.Now they can only be sold at a loss.

I do not quite understand the word "long-term investment" for trading on the stock exchange. If you plan to make a profit in a month or more, why bring a coin to the exchange? Keep the coin just in your wallet ;).If you trade, this is in any case a short investment. And a long investment will turn out by itself when you incorrectly buy a coin. ;D

Both short and long term investment are needed, so I won't recommend one of them. I don't think long term investment is so dangerous, the point is how you can choose the right coins. I think it is better to choose the top coins for long term investments. For short terms, it is good to apply since we won't wait for a long time to sell the coins. I usually choose the coins that become the current trends on the market to be short term investment.

Participating in ICOs has big potential to gain profits. But it also has risks to get nothing since there are many ICOs failed or ended with scam cases. The best way is to have deep research before deciding to join/participate. It should minimize to participate in scams or failed projects.

Trading policy varies person to person. I think, short term invedtment is the best for small traders. Small traders have a shortage of fund and they want short time benifit. That's why they cannot hold their fund long time. But large traders can invest their fund in long term as they have the capability for holding fund. The long term investment has the possibility of larger benifit.

Generally small traders prefer short investment and large traders prefer both short and long investment. Long term investment gives larger profit but there has less possibility to get higher profit from short term investment. Different people take different strategy. But I think, to be successful trader both investment strategy should follow.

Sometime I see that short term investment is Much profitable as compared to long-term investment .
