Blockchain Technology can be applied to Medical Industry as well and not only to digital or cryptocurrencies. Blockchain Technology can be used as a ledger to store important datas pertaining to almost everthing in the medical industry. The datas with the use of the same technology can be programmed so as it can be accessed by other sectors of the society, it is much better if the medical industry will use blockchain technology as a distributed ledger for everyone to have access

An interesting idea can be developed to universal application to identification chips instead of paper mountains attached to a person from birth. but alas, in the next couple of generations, the queue and bureaucracy will flourish. :)

Well, according to me, Blockchain technology can help in healthcare industry as due to this all the data of the patients are i decentralized form or in encrypted form. with this , a patient can share their information to the only person they want to share.With this, there is no need of central administrator eliminated by cryptography and all the users are in the control. So, Blockchain provides security, scalability, and data privacy to the healthcare industry.

Blockchain in the medical industry will as a matter of fact improve the financial management of the industry, improve doctor/patient relationship and makes treatment of patients easy as doctors can access patients record even from another country.
