Title: Is bitcoin like gambling?
Post by: MUGNIA on December 02, 2018, 07:24:23 AM
I’m curious , how bitcoin works? I’ve seen it advertised a lot in social media. Is it really worth investment? How much do you actually get? I’ve researched it a little but I like hearing other people’s views on these sort of things.

Yes, there are some people who say that Bitcoin is gambling. But if in my opinion, this is not gambling but this is a digital asset. And a place to trade and buy crypto coins. So this is the best place to make profitable investments.

No it is not actually. You can say this is your big digital asset which can be transfered into hard cash money. So why you say this is one kind of gambling? Before knowing about bitcoin i was in doubt like you but after working behind it and earning it my perception totally changed. Now i can earn real money by BTC and i am also self sufficient with BTC. So i love BTC.

It's suspicious that you don't know about Bitcoin and your account was created in October which I assume that you
already know what Bitcoin is but for the sake of your post I'll answer your question. ;D
First of all, Bitcoin is not gambling and it is not an investment even if you take a look at Bitcoin's White Paper there
is no word that describes it as an investment method but because of its decentralized feature and no one controls it
most of the people decided to invest in it and throughout the years it gains more popularity and demand becomes
higher, that's one of the reasons why Bitcoin began to some have value and now have a higher value.

I don't blame people who are of the opinion that bitcoin is gambling .
I think they come to that conclusion because of the high yields on investment that bitcoin gives ,which is same as gambling where one can invest $100 and win $1000k.
So I can relate perfectly.
But I must say that bitcoin is far from being gambling.

Bitcoin is not like gambling. The value of bitcoin is highly volatile and one can not predict it. Gambling is the wagering of money or something of value (referred to as "the stakes") on an event with an uncertain outcome, with the primary intent of winning money or material goods. Gambling thus requires three elements be present: consideration, risk (chance), and a prize.

I don't think it's gambling, if gambling maybe I also haven't traded Bitcoin since 2017.
If gambling is when we buy a order and get a price but when the Bitcoin price drops, it is called gambling.

But Bitcoin when the price drops it doesn't disappear, but the estimate decreases.

Bitcoin is not gambling it is just digital currency but bitcoin price up and down thats why many people says its gambling or like as bubble, but I am not agree with this people its their wrong thinking. If you buy and hold till you can gain profit,it is not gambling. It is investing in to something that you believe it will give you profit when the right time comes.
