Do you guys and gals think that Ethereum could go into a bull run this year without depending on Bitcoin's value? ::)
I personally don't believe that Ethereum can do it on its own without Bitcoin's price recovery because Ethereum deeply
relies on Bitcoin for its value's movement and growth just like the other alternative cryptocurrencies.

Me too, very hard for ETH to fly alone without depending on Bitcoin price. And I strongly believe that most of coins in top 10 also suffer the impact from Bitcoin price

Not only the top 10 cryptocurrencies are suffering but almost every cryptocurrency below Bitcoin is suffering from this
bearish market situation right now.
I hope so,rigth now we in the deepest lowest price, but maybe we go below 100$ for the last time so i could buy some
There are some predictions that Bitcoin could fall below $2000 dollars but I think that chances are small for that and
if that happens Ethereum might hit the lowest price of below $50 dollars, this kind of scenario looks really scary. :-\

I personally don't believe that Ethereum can do it on its own without Bitcoin's price recovery because Ethereum deeply
relies on Bitcoin for its value's movement and growth just like the other alternative cryptocurrencies.

I does not believe bitcoin is able to determine the whole market price of crypto bitcoin might be the king of crypto before every coin take a massive drawdown we still see some coins that is rising despite the falling of bitcoin price.

Etheruem going!g the bull way is a possibility consisdering it's volatile nature that makes price swing both sides almost immediately.

That is correct, but most of those coins that pump during this bearish market situation are a pump and dump coins
that are being shilled by those shillers. I didn't mean every alternative cryptocurrency depends on Bitcoin
just like Tether a stable coin that depends on its value on US dollar value.

Yeah, there are some coins appearing on green in the market chat, but the fall in bitcoin price has great effect on the entire market.
If this situation should continue, lots of coins/projects will drop, because most investors are scared of losing there money as the market is on a bloodbath right now.

It's sad to see the price of Ethereum because it always follows the price of King Cryptocurrency.
Maybe in my opinion for this year, exactly 2018 will not happen because I see Bitcoin tends to go down and the price drops.

And the bloodbath is still continuing the majority of Initial coin offerings this year are postponing their projects
until next year because the market does not seem to favor them.

If Bitcoin become bullish then Etherium will go with the flow but not too much. As we all know that ICOs era are over right now, there are very few investors on this market. Lets wait for the update on the new platform of Etherium and decide.

I don’t think that Ethereum will be able to start growing without its older brother - Bitcoin, because in general the whole market is tied to the value of the first coin!

Me too, i don't believe ethereum can up independenly without bitcoin up first. Market still follow bitcoin can't independence . The market must independence one day, not follow bitcoin anymore.

We have currently 5 votes so far favoring the "NO" with 4 votes and 1 vote on "YES" but the voting still continues
and it will end within a week. :D
The signs of being bullish are still not showing and the market is currently showing us a bearish trend as of this
moment.

I do not see any reason to be bullish on Ethereum this year. Maybe next year when we will have a clearer picture on the release of new platform upgrades. If it does make a rally, that will be mainly due to Bitcoin making a rally.

I'd like to justify my vote.
I voted for the first option because of I'm waiting for new Ethereum developments that were announced in this year.
So I wish these improvements can increase Ethereum price!

Actually i have confused .I have passed long time with cryopt .I still don't have such a experience that can predict the market .Its a long downtrend .I never have faced this situation practically so i voted for can't decided.

too fast for this situation, because the crypto world is still in a bad condition, some traders sell a lot of assets, maybe because there is a Christmas party at the end of the year

I don't think we will see any bullish action in crypto currency before the second quarter of 2019. Forget about the remaining days of 2018 and 1q, nothing to expect before may.

I think so hard for ETH to bullish this years. Currently we can see a red market and this can last long until the end of next year as a after affect of dumping.

Bull run for 2018 is almost impossible not solely because of bitcoin price only. Bitcoin might work as a controller for altcoins at the moment because crypto is still relatively new but once people see what altcoins can do by its own bitcoin prices will not be a great factor to them anymore.

I think that this poll is indicative of the caos reigns over the market.
The dip has not a limit. People are selling off without precedents.

I am not sure about Ethereum that the end of 2018 will be Bull Run.
Maybe it's better at the moment for Fiat's HODL and wait for Ethereum to return to the price of 5 USD. LOL

I also think so, ethereum bull run will not be without the presence of bitcoin. I guess not this year might be the beginning of ethereum will bull run.

Next year will be the year for Ethereum as they announced that they will a hardfork which they called constantinople. This is the break of ethereum that they are waiting for. Time to get back the no.2 spot which ripple takes its place.

Bitcoin is the mother of all crypto, all movements of Bitcoin will be followed by all crypto, according to me at this time Ethereum will continue to follow the movement and depend on Bitcoin.
