Title: FUD or Reality?
Post by: Zed0X on December 06, 2018, 07:07:18 PM
Every time there's a significant drop, we quickly try to find the reason why and then put the blame on FUD (usually).

But is it really FUD or just plain reality?

There are times when there are just more sellers than buyers. Some people are really losing their faith in Bitcoin and sells at a price they probably believe as its actual value even if it meant selling at a loss.

Starting from a decline and many people will do fud. they use the opportunity to get a cheap price. but don't forget to pay attention to crypto news. usually the news starts first.

I believe that there are certain parties who gets delighted at the slightest dip in price because this gives them room to profit from the resulting alarm and fear that follows. On the other hand, we should be able to come to a stage where one is able to distinguish fud from reality.

Of course their is a FUD and that fud created a big chaos , people became afraid that they will lose more and then try to sell their holding at lesser price.

I think FUD can create short-term price directions, but when we look at the drop from $20 down to where we are now, this is nothing more than a market correction led by market cycles, it's nothing to do with an ETF, the SEC or ICOs. We blame these things because we don't want to acknowledge that a parabolic rise results in a parabolic correction. The same has happened with Gold and Silver, cannabis stocks, dotcom bubble, etc.

Regardless, the further it correct the better the long-term opportunity to invest, so I can't complain.

Personally, I don't really understand enough about this. I guess the number of bitcoin is quite limited. It means the holders should be lower than buyers. But it is possible if the holders have lost their confidence, they will sell the bitcoin in large numbers. In this situation, the buyers may be lower than sellers.

I think it is only natural for people to always find for a reason why things are happening. In crypto, FUD is usually the culprit (even if there's none) as OP mentioned. I agree to some point that some are losing faith on Bitcoin and are content on selling at a loss. We should just have to accept that fact.

What's going on is just the reality of this industry and it just wants to show everyone how this market is
called very high-risk because of its volatility. Those people who losses faith in Bitcoin will somehow sell
their holdings and that's the opportunity for those whales to buy them.

I believe its all manipulation by whales they just want to push down the market so that they can buy more bitcoin at less price even panic sellers also sells in panic so I would suggest to hold your coins its not the right time to sell in panic just believe in the market and have patience and certainly there is also fear in the mind of investors as well.

You should at least know the elements of the abbreviation, FUD, Fear Uncertainty Doubt. So a significant drop in some people can cause them to panic, then decide to take action, so this drop will continue for an indefinite period of time, not to mean that if there is bad news then it is FUD, people interpret it as material to scare other people into selling lower, but not. FUD itself is the impact of what happens to the market well after technical and fundamental analysis

Quite true. Some are in state of denial and try to downplay corrections as merely "FUD"

What I mean here is that some see the real value of bitcoin at price XX (Maybe they do not see it going anywhere) so they just decide to sell.

I don't know about whale manipulation, the market has been on a decline for months.

FUD can be known from tracking which media gave the bad news.
But if you reduce the price of Bitcoin for no reason, like without FUD, then I make sure that there are a lot of people selling Bitcoin than the buyers.

We are in reality. Already waiting for so long to have bull run and actually we expected that by the month of November and December bull run will surely happen. Even now no sigh at all. This is not what Fud can do but this is a mere reality.

There will have an end with this bear market. Just make yourself available for that time, we don't know when but be still.

Both! When the prices are going down, its the market and the people around it. FUD maybe the biggest part of price down but that the reality. we cannot predict the market price

now the crypto market has begun to crawl up and we must be more patient for that. we can only wait and be patient to wait for the crypto market to rise again. We also need to be more careful in managing our crypto assets to avoid the big losses.

Okay. I got your point. If they feel tired of the bearish market and the price of bitcoin quite difficult to rise, it is reasonable for them to sell it. However, I still hope people can be more patient to HODL and don't make more severe price reduction by panicking selling.

It is both FUD and Reality I think whales are just creating FUD more people dump and they devour it. It is the reality now. Cryptocurrency is a game of accumulation if you buy at high price just hodl and wait for BULL  ;)

when the crypto market is falling, it would be better if we hold the coins we have until the crypto market recovers and stabilizes. we must be able to manage crypto assets that we have well to get satisfactory results. patience is the most important key.
