At a conference held in Mumbai, India on Nov. 6, 2017, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) executive director, S Ganesh Kumar, has hinted that the digital currencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum will not be allowed to be legally used across the country.

“Our current position on Bitcoins is that we will not be using it for any payments and settlements…though the technology underlying cryptocurrencies will not end.”

I recently read news that in this country people are interested in crypto currency. I think that the government will act wrong if it prohibits the crypto currency

Indians has been one of the most active in the crypto market but to news in recent time it shows the government knows Little or aware of how their corrupt act can be leaked with blockchain technology. There has been strict moves on cryptocurrencies in India early this year, I will not be surprise to see the government banning it.
