Thinking of Bitcoin replacement now? From the figures it presents as market cap, it appears like no other altcoin is so close to set a competition with Bitcoin. Aside this, Bitcoin is set to meet new developments which will enhance its Blockchain with speed and sufficient transaction capacity like what the Lighting Network intends to achieve.

Bitcoin market cap is $63.28 Billions
Ripple market cap is $12.84 Billions
Ethereum market cap is $9.88 Billions
Stellar market cap is $2.40 Billions
Bitcoin Cash market cap is $1.92 Billions
I site this from coinmarketcap info in order to show to you that bitcoin is still the strongest coin in crypto history. Besides, it is the most valuable coin. Difficult to replace this one as it is the mainstream.

I think bitcoin will not be replaced by any altcoin. Because bitcoin is a mother of others cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin is more trusted and promising coin. So it is not possible although nothing is impossible in crypto world.

I don't think it will happen. Bitcoin is the leader of the market. If Bitcoin lose its value, then other coins lose much more value than Bitcoin.

I don’t think that Bitcoin will be able to replace Altcoins, they have a different structure, Bitcoin has always been the leader of the cryptocurrency market, and nothing will replace it

Some promising altcoins will be able to outrun bitcoin in price, but this may not happen soon. In order for this to happen, Bitcoin must first lose its price dominance over other types of cryptocurrency, dropping in the volume of capitalization to the level of capitalization of other coins. Therefore, in all likelihood, this can happen only when Bitcoin loses its popularity and its level of capitalization falls along with its price. Only after that the altcoins will be able to overtake him in price. Theoretically, this is possible, especially since Bitcoin is not in the best shape, given its scalability of seven transactions per second.

until now even though the price of bitcoin continues to decline but I don't think that bitcoin will be replaced by other altcoins because market trust is still very dominated by bitcoin.
-
yes it can happen. but I don't think that would be true because bitcoin is the king of all coins. even if that happens, I am sure that it will not happen for the current year

I think Bitcoin is irreplaceable. According to its market cap, no altcoins have a chance to overtake the position of Bitcoin so far. The second place is Ripple (XRP), but I think Ripple is still far away to get close to Bitcoin cap. I conclude Bitcoin will be always in the first place and no altcoins to be replaced it.
