I only know that there is bear market, but I am asked what is the real cause of the bear market, I cannot see anything to point at, please anyone know the cause?

The less demand in market and dumping prices on most crypto coins result the market trends called "bear market". In addition, negative news about the current crypto issues and its future make the situation getting worse. On the other hand, the ban from some government also causes the bear market.

The major cause of the bear market is the historic patterns of Bitcoin's market cycles. Once the long-term bear market had been established, by falling below the 200 Day MA (in March/April), then a 80-95% drop at least to the 200 Week MA was almost inevitable as history shows. Regardless of everyone's false belief that $6k would hold, despite the bearish indicators that highlighted a target of $3k (or lower) from breaking the 8-month descending triangle.
My other argument is that the parabolic rise in December 2017 has led to the parabolic drop this year. The quicker we truly capitulate the better.

The major cause should be the fear of human that is controlling this downfall of crypto. Selling from one after another.

Bear market means the state of the market that are in a low demand mode. Means supply are outrageous and no new buys are happening. It simply means only few are interested to buy some big coins out there so the market stays bear.

Just understand that after a bull run, bear market comes. It is inevitable to always see market corrections. Add to that the combination of strict regulations, delays in launching major events such as bakkt or ETF.

A bear market is usually caused by people that bought on the lower price and selling it now to get profit from their
holdings and that is normal in this kind of volatile market. The price of Bitcoin could soar high again but it will need
to go down 1st before it will start to a new beginning.

It is true that there are many factors for the decline in crypto prices this year. But there is one question from me that seems to be very annoying, is it possible that there are games from big investors by creating negative issues so they can buy at low prices?

I agree with you fear is the most powerful thing that can wipe out the whole of crypto, government can put ban but when people still have the hope in crypto, it still can survive.

I think that one of majour causes of this bear market is the lack of trust that investors has towards ICO projects. There were (and there are) too many scams ICO in 2018 so a big part of investors has simply lost faith and interest for ICO.

some of the reasons I do know is FOMO and of course, panic selling, they are the real cause of this bear market, if people can just throw away FOMO, it will help.

Actually, we don't really know about what have caused the bearish. But I think it mostly because of the FUDs, government regulation, and FUDs. This makes investors be afraid or low interest to buy coins. Then, all the bad impacts trigger the long bearish.

You know crypto-currency is more complicated than you think. Maybe the real reason is the trust and confidence for new investors or players are not that high and because of that the supply and demand was not equally made that resulting to massive selling of the crypto-currency holdings thats why the price was continue to dip more.

I think that the major cause of the bearish market is unfounded rumours andy news being peddles across cryptosphere.
Another cause is the attitude of investors and traders.
Also the attitude of selling at a miserable price constitutes bearish market.
