Hi, Everyone phishing scam is everywhere now, bounty hunters are more vulnerable when our emails is seen on the spreadsheet it should be hidden and only seen by admin not by all. A scammer could easily take that email and send us fake/clone/phishing site or target for hacking, etc. This is for those bounty managers I hope you will visit this thread.

Yes of course bounty managers must consider this because not all bounty hunters know about phishing. I hope so bm will notice this issue
-
Many bounty managers are already doing that. If you are in a bounty that still do not hide personal info like emails, then you can request that they hide them.
-
Some bounties are already doing that. Because they are already aware of the new scam system. I had received several emails all from phising email. Saying I should claim my bounty tokens. Bounty hunters has to be careful
-
Thanks for your reply guys, I hope all bounty hunter will be aware of this phishing scam. Yeah some bounty managers are already doing it. If you saw some managers not our hiding our sensitive info's please let us report it together to help our fellow bounty hunters.

Some of those projects are just made to still your data such as email or completely KYC data.Just in case they don´t reach softcap they just sell your data to some third party or specialized firms for that kind of business.
I´m not afraid of phishing but scam emails can also be annoying.

For me if I see any projects that require KYC but only pay $10 then that project probably scam and trying to get our passport, address information.

I experience this too that's why I am very careful on what site I am going to kyc. There are just stealing our info and maybe they will use it for illegal transaction that's what I am afraid.

Yeah. Some accepted my request but some did not for being transparent. We should always be cautious against phishing emails even bounty managers do not show our emails and other personal info at spreadsheets. I never click links at mailbox expect for website confirmation emails.
-
it shouldnt even be debateable really... and why is it even necessary? Just compromising information that is for the most part meaningless.... oh well hopefully a lot of the phishing and scamming will leave in the bear market as well since a lot of bounty/ico participation has slowed down.

Transparency as the reason for not hiding emails? That bounty team should change their policy. I am sure they are aware of fraudster taking advantage of these open emails. Being honest, I hope no projects will accept their services.

Either managers or hunters both parties are responsible to maintain your own security. Everyone is in titled as take your own risks and mind your own business. If you noticed suspicious sites, links or even mistakes related with the project, you can report to BM in polite approach. Once the business manager did not responded give some understanding maybe he/she is too busy in some important businesses.
