i personally believe that many payment gateways such as PayPal will die soon simply because they are too expensive to use.
sending USD to another PP account cost almost 5%, thats really expensive.
I know of some countries that can't use debit cards for online transaction. They have to use credit cards. and the banks charge even higher conversion fees for Credit Cards. It's ridiculous.
i do believe there will be crypto payment gateways cheaper than PayPal soon where businesses can use many cryptos and even the stable coins.
and even crypto cards without VISA and Mastercard!

Of course crypto is preferred over payment gateway. The reason is that crypto is more efficient and costs less. And that's what makes many users interested.

Once PayPal becomes a gateaway for crypto then more users will join the community as PayPal knows for their huge groups of users. However, I am not sure if it will happen soon.

I have money in Paytoo that is stuck for 2 years now, when I had a family emergency I can not even take the money out because they keep on rejecting it, its my money but I lost it because the payment processor has the power to give it or not . In crypto, I never experienced this kind of thing, you have the liberty on what to do with your own money.

I agree with you, that soon the crypto payment system will be used in all countries, I am still waiting and looking at the progress of crypto technology being used for all payment systems.
it will be easier and faster for everyone to be able to transact without any doubt. because crypto is safer

there will be more payment gateway in the future, bitpay now only process btc and bch which is really not enough, there should be more.

Cryptocurrency payment is adgudged better because of it's transparency, convenience, fast transactions etc.
There is no much protocol involved when trying to process a transaction when compared to the conventional payment model.

I disagree with you. Paypal will be replaced soon. Take a look at Utrust, it is considered as a paypal of crypto. If paypal will not switch to blockchain, they will vanish.

The link or the quote I posted suggests that they looking into blockchain. Check it again.

If such payment gateways do not adapt to changes when the cryptocurrency offers almost zero fees, they will disappear. In the future, users will choose and vote with their money for convenience, speed, security and minimal fees. Competition will solve everything. However, PayPal, Visa, MasterCard are unlikely to give up and just leave the market.

i think PP just need to accept crypto like how Skrill does. Even Western Union is ready to accept crypto payments.
PP is still doing great now because it's used by many business, but i don't think PP will be used by many if they don't keep up with the technologies.

Well, it is faster.
Regular payment gateways are taking so much fee - some of them are taking it from both sides
Banks has insurance but I believe crypto is more secure when you think about the tech that both side uses.

Yes I agree with you cryptocurrency is a payment tool today, with cryptocurrency fees can be reduced and can even be eliminated, so with cryptocurrency is a method of paying for the world community, so if we do not have cryptocurrency then we can miss online payment technology, and if we make a payment through a bank or other third party, then we have to pay a fee for their services, not with cryptocurrency.

Some other kinds of payments would not die soon or in the future. They are not foolish to run such kind of business that they are not ready to adopt the current peoples choice or trending issues and needs of the people around the world. They will certainly adopt the trend in order to relate their business to the peoples needs.

Crypto have many advantages compared to traditional payments method like credit card system and paypal. With crypto every owner has full control of its coins without any third intermediary need and, most important, fees are very low compared to credit card for merchants...

Crypto currency does not care who you are and what connections you have. You can buy it in any situation. There's no prohibition.

We're getting charged credit card fees but don't realize it because the cost is just passed onto the consumer. Plus there are taxes when you buy with cash (some crypto transactions as well if you're buying off a website).

Agreed crypto has more convenient way of charging fees. If banks realize how crypto is more superior they will die by it. As I can see it this will be the battle of transactions later on.

Yes, everything will happen if everyone knows crypto. If everyone already knows and uses crypto, I'm sure everything you tell like a crypto payment card will come true. But regulations that will determine whether that can happen.

The fact that cryptocurrencies are cheaper is the truth. But PayPal can compete with cryptocurrencies.
