Title: Monthly reports. Why is not everyone doing it?
Post by: Dellynn on December 20, 2018, 05:53:26 PM
I wish projects would do reports at least every month as they - https://medium.com/@silentnotary/sn-and-cil-november-report-c49bf971a768. And we really need to take it as an example - they showed not only that they pay attention to technological development, but also showed that they are moving towards large listings, which warms the heart. Now, many are slaughtered and get off with the typical “negotiations are going on”.

Montlhy reports are good so the community is updated on what is happening. However, there are times when the team won't be able to do that especially during development phase.

The reports are not profitable for the ICO team itself, especially if they are not very good at fundraising. If they show it in their monthly reports, then no one else will invest in their ICO. Therefore, recently, on their websites, the ICO teams have mostly forwarded to show the position of fund-raising.

I think monthly reports is necessary. It will ensure people that the team is still working and they shouldn't be worry with the development of the project. I have ever participated in some bad projects that never did weekly or monthly reports. All of them ended with scam issues.

Projects do not make such reports, as for them it is quite stressful, and on the other hand why? If usually investors do not require them to do so and invest based on other parameters such as white paper, team, idea, etc.

I don't think monthly reports are necessary, just a continuing update of the timeline and when significant stages are reached. I can't remember the name of the project now, but they had a great system, where they constantly had progress reports broken down into different sections, each indicating the percentage of progress that had been made. It definitely added a level of confidence in the work that was going on behind the scenes, even when it was running behind schedule.

Isn't that the purpose why there is a roadmap? Monthly reports maybe good but I prefer companies do significant announcements like delays and new developments that's not stated in their roadmap.

If we are talking about SNTR - the main thing for them is to find customers who will increase the liquidity of the token. Although I see that they are also actively participating in conferences, checked their Twitter .

Reporting is not so important. The main thing is investors having profit.

And how will it be if the community doesn't know what is happening with the project? Maybe he is scammed?

Monthly report is necessary but only profits those ICOS that have something to show that they are not slacking. The ones who are only there to scam investors of their money will of course not to show what they are doing because then people will know what they are up to.

it is always necessary to conduct a dialogue with the community. constantly. we are part of the project which we invested. a report where even minor edits are indicated is always a plus. SNTR also has live and active chat in the telegram. They do everything right.

isn't that the cause why there may be a roadmap? month-to-month reviews maybe exact however I opt for businesses do substantial bulletins like delays and new traits that's now not stated of their roadmap.
