With the way Ethereum is coming up recently, there is no doubt that it may return to it is position, but I want to ask, who else think the same way?

Yes it's true ethereum will take its position again still cryptomarket is going very bad situation although sometimes it going to green signal while ethereum is increasing fastly I think this is just starting stage so it will take very soon.

Agree. Ethereum is the King of Altcoin, because almost every Token that we know and love today has been launched on the Blockchain Ethereum. Very close to Bitcoin in terms of development and innovation, making it one of the safest cryptocurrency today. Conversely, Ripple (or should I say XRP) is not active in development and innovation such as Ethereum. XRP is only full of hype without giving real use to the mainstream world. It can be cheaper and the transaction speed is faster than ETH.

It is very clear that ethereum will regain it number two ranking at the coinmarketcap. As at the time of writing this post the defferent marketcap has dropped significantly with just little deference ( ie, Ripple $14,670, Billion and Ethereum $14,28, billion ) respectively.

Etherium is a very strong coin that has a well defined Use Case. I believe when the markets stabilizes ether will go back to its normal position.

Now also the difference between Ethereum to Ripple is only around 48,000,000 USD and it's not in the hundreds of millions of USD.

I’m a Ripple holder so I hope that Ripple can remain in this second position for longer but I’m also afraid about ETH upgrade next month too, afraid that ETH will take back the second place from Ripple

Ethereum is the best altcoin and it has many advantages although ethereum was declined hardly so it was dropped from second place but currently ethereum is the second largest cryptocurrency but Ripple market capitalization is little different compared with ethereum market capitalization but I'm just waiting for ethereum 2.0 because ethereum price will increase thus ethereum will be stable in second place.

For me ripple also good coin, today ripple and ethereum has just little gap in cmc. The different is ethereum has FOMO because HF in 14 January, so ethereum grow up first. I think if market going up ripple and ethereum will fight nicely.

The current market situation is really bad although ethereum performance is very bad because ethereum is affected very deeply again and again although ethereum just different than Ripple so don't doubt this year ethereum will rise again.

I think Ripple will continue to stand in the second position for longer, as well as it has the higher volume capital than ETH, but ETH also has an upgrade at the end of this month and we should waiting after that upgrade to determine who will win this fight

Yes all ethereum holders are waiting the ethereum upgrade release but current situation ethereum price is slowly started to up so ethereum is already jumped in second position however I'm waiting for the hardfork realise.

Eth rose to number 2 and ripple fell to number 3 in coinmarketcap, I think the news is that Hardfork eth is the trigger. We'll wait for what will happen in the market whether after eth hardfork will be able to maintain its position or not.

It is always a chance for Ripple to be higher than Ethereum. I think it is not impossible. But the team should work hard to compete with ETH that looks like growing very fast now. Many altcoins show their good improvement, Binance Coin, Cardano, and Tron are some examples. I think Ripple need to have better strategies to survive on the top 3 ranks.

I doubt abou that, Ripple will remain higher than ethereum. Because I see ripple is struggling now. I have changed my coin to daily trading now. I have used ripple at the past year, But Now I prefer used litecoin and Monero.

I see this is happening 2-3 time when Ripple overtake Etherium for some day's or hour's on coinmarketcap . But this is temporarily becuase Etherium have alot of big invester who continue work to improve Etherium in every conditions .

Yes, I agree with your opinion, Ethereum is doing well at this year. Ethereum has shown good recovery after crash. So, I don't believe ripple will remain higher than ethereum. Recently I don't hear something new about Ripple. Not sure what they are thinking ahead of time. Different from Ethereum where it is on progress to officially launch the Eth 2.0. when everything is ready, the Eth founder will inform the community about the successful completion of Eth. I think that day it will be the day of Ethereum price jump.

I don't want to use Never word because anything can happen in the crypto market that we observed in the past years. Ripple then beat Ethereum but it very very difficult to beat Ethereum by Ripple as there is more than 4x difference in market capital. So it is very very difficult to beat Ethereum at the moment.

I don't think Ripple will be higher than ethereum. Ethereum is the best of altcoins now. It is always be number second on CMC. Ripple is good coin but still struggle now. Let's see the of both at the end of this year.

it is quite difficult to shift eth's position for now because ripple has recently been moving in price because fomo xrp holders get spark, while eth moves because the need for swaping is always uniswap
