❗*Information: Trading on others advice is the best way to lose money, yes there are respected names in the industry but even they get it wrong. If you're new, its best to paper trade (trade without real money) if you can prove you make money consistently for 6 months, then you're ready to trade with real money. Margin trading is for people who know what they're doing, if you don't, its the quickest money you will ever lose.*

One piece of advice from my side - when you start the adventure with trading you have to remember that it's good to observe the price changes in the longer perspective. The daily changes will tell you something about the coin but not everything. I strongly recommend you to watch the video interview with Dennis O'Neil, who share his predictions and thoughts about the price of altcoins, like Futurocoin - the video is available on the Youtube profile here: www.youtube.com/channel/UCa_3dvO2UL61TE-8JY7Jm4Q

There are automated trading tools for technical analysis, used for stocks trading. They can be used in cryptocurrency trading, but extra care must be taken, because cryptocurrency markets are more volatile. If you want to use technical analysis you must know about:
Moving Average
Stochastic Oscillator
Trendlines
RSI
In stock trading a moving average of 200 days, is a secure tool to find the asset trend. This enables you to get profits with a small number of transactions. I prefer this, because we humans, if we are stressed, it is easier for us to do mistakes. Always do your homework first and GOOD LUCK!
-
Nice tips, a lot of useful info for a beginner. Thanks!
-
Its better to think twice when you enter the trading industries because one mistake all of your capital will lose and your interest to this work.
That my opinion.
-
great information which is very useful for beginner !!!
-
Good post,Very useful information for them who wants to start trading.
-
Thank you very much for providing comprehensive information in this thread. It is not only good for newbies, older investors can find something interesting here also as crypto market landscape is changing swiftly
-
I can’t call myself as an expert or exactly experienced Crypto trader, but I have done general trading since last 12-13 years now. I believe there is not a huge difference, it’s just about having right strategy and method to work it out.
I do like to suggest Crypto traders something and that’s these Crypto Trading Tools (https://cryptolinks.com/cryptocurrency-trading-tools), it’s all very useful and something that allows you to locate the right direction, which is often missed by people with lack of experience.
-
Good Tips for Newbie who understand trading. This Tips not good for people, who is Newbie of Newbie in crypto-finance world. Tou need a good mentor only! For good trading.
Good luck guys)
-
Really appreciate about the dump and pump group cause I just joined this market and I see a lot of group that telling they will give the signal before each pump, thanks again
-
Why are those trading websites are so common.
-
Thank you very much. When I joined this market for the first time, with the lacking of knowledge so I’m just fomo everything, now I understand what fomo is
-
Why are those trading websites are so common.
Because that's the most used platform. Most newbies wouldn't know about them, or maybe they heard about them but never use it. The tips, in general is okay for newbies, though they should learn more about exchanges and stuff like that.
-
Very useful information, thanks
Some more crypto terms I get to hear quite often:
FUDsters - people who spread Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt
Pump and dump - price rises fast and then crashes
ROI - Return on investment
TA - Technical Analysis
-
Thank you very much. I just started to study the trading, so this information is definitely for me. Well done, anyway ;)
-
As a beginner, you have to learn a lot from seniors. Don't be too brave to jump on crypto. trading, don't let your intention to profit from being stumped. And backfires for you to join crypto.
-
thank you so much. that is one hell of a nutshell...
although trading effectively is applying even the very basics of economics learned in high school (i honestly think high school is harder than real life) ... but it is a different game when it comes to cryptocurrency.
and what just happened. that sums it all for me.
-
Thanks, good advice.
-
It’s hard to give kind of advice/tips that could do miracles but the simple tip is to use common sense because that is something lacking by the majority and leads to all the trouble we often witness out.
I don’t prefer anything special but I use these Trading Tools (https://cryptolinks.com/cryptocurrency-trading-tools), which makes trading easier. You can track it down from Cryptolinks, which is like the dictionary for Cryptos and really helps with everything including getting a lot of lovely tools for trading.
-
Trading tools, make trading easier, although, the final decision, must be the trader's. The tools help you, to have a better perspective. Automated tools, have the preference of their developer, so they must have a way to be programmed to different strategies.
-
with me i think before trading you must learn more knowledge and experience about the crypto from the people who have more experience, so you need some telegram chanel to get a good signal to trade and you need stick your experience from theres

I agree with you that crypto is way different from traditional money and thus it is being regulated by different laws.

Don't start trading until you start understanding these things and more
-
The tips on where to trade are not exhaustible, I believe the best platforms for a beginner to trade are mercatox and binance.

If you want to be a day trader, I would recommend checking out this website https://tradingbeasts.com/cryptocurrency-trading/ (https://tradingbeasts.com/cryptocurrency-trading/), they have nice guides and tips there so you can learn the basic crypto chart patterns or what are the best cryptos today trade etc.
-
I suggest that you choose an altcoin whose value is small but has high potential. For example, doge nem or tron. So you don't have to spend large capital to start trading.
-
If only investing and trading strategies depended on reading sources... but it's useful for the general understanding anyway!
-
Also, it is important to find an exchange platform that suits your needs best. In my case it was Coindeal, since I have a chance to vote for their new cryptocurrencies. That's a lot of freedom that I did not receive in other websites.

I would add, Bytecoin and Digibyte to the list. There are other, more expensive coins, that have a good potential too. Anyway, I expect this year, to be the year of profits.
-
Spent ages on reading about the trading tips and it looks like a never ending story, but still really appreciate this topic! Cheers!

Buy low, sell high - that's the simplest stuff. I wonder only how long you should wait for it to happen considering the current state of the market

unfortunately, I only watch this new phenomenon in the economies of the world as cryptocurrency

For any newbie to succeed in trading, you must be fully equipped with what it takes to be successful. For example, you have to stufy the market well so that you do not get surprised when the market turns against you. You should also be practise how the market moves.
-
I suggest that beginner traders buy when prices are low. Hold and wait until prices crawl up and you get benefits. Sell when prices have gone up.
-
Choose an altcoin that has a low price. But it has a high volume and has the potential to grow. Of course, also through analysis of several sources including seniors. Wait for future growth and increase.
You will definitely benefit from this investment.
-
I could not review all replies but few tips are incredible to learn more about BTC nature. Thanks for your support!

Beginners who have just joined the trade, you must also be prepared to lose if the market estimates are not in accordance with the wishes. Buy coins when prices are low and sell when prices rise. This easy material.

There is no game without losing
-
Good read, thanks, mate.
Don't forget to mention, buy low and sell high.
That's the first thing for new traders to understand.
If not, they'll just go ahead and buy the most pumped coin and end up losing their money.
-
You should also be practise how the market moves.
You are absolutely right, it need more and more practice

It is not an easy thing to get profit in teh beginning of your trading career as you have a lot of things running in your mind. New traders are always on a major risk and this risk is the chances of mistakes. You must have to learn quickly and efficiently for staying away from losses. Thanks!

I traded in the stock market 30 years ago. Even the oldest traders, had the #1 objective. To avoid loss. So, when choosing an asset, the first concern, is not to lose! Profits, have a lower priority.

That's very true... That should be the major priorities of anyone who intends trading... And also knowing the fundamental analysis about the given project to trade..

I can advise you to gain some knowledge before you decide to trade. And then - find a reliable cryptocurrency exchange, remember to check some opinions about the exchange before you decide to register. Morover, it's good to find the information about security, because not every exchange is rustworthy. I can recommend you CoinDeal (https://coindeal.com/), they have the highest security practices.

I agree, reliable and trustworthy exchange is a key to success, there are so many scams so it is important to be careful while choosing one. Recently I found ranking TOP 5 trading platforms for EU, where Coindeal reached 1st place: https://cryptomag.me.

Some exchanges are preparing tools for their (mostly unexperienced) traders like Coindeal did, enabling GalaxyScore feature, which signals the best moment to buy or sell a cryptocurrency. It seems pretty simple, i think it's just collecting some combined measure of cryptocurrency indicators to check whether some cryptocurrency is doing fine. It might be useful signal for newcomers.

Being attentive and patient is my personal recommendation, which will be useful to you at first. Attentive, because there is a lot of fraud and patient, because not everything comes to trading right away, you will have to work.
-
Beginners who have just joined the trade, you must also be prepared to lose if the market estimates are not in accordance with the wishes. Buy coins when prices are low and sell when prices rise. This easy material.
If you make a mistake, and you think that prices will get lower, you can sell. Then, when the price is lower, you can buy THE SAME AMOUNT of coins, and keep the price difference, as a profit.
-

Yes,the patience is all. I think that it's also good to learn from your mistakes. That's how you can gain some experience

Learning from your mistakes is so important, but first, you have to decide what amount of money you are able to lose while trading and be aware that losses are practically unavoidable. But over time you will know what should you pay attention to

i think the most important tip for a newbie is to stick your stop loss. don't let emotion sweep away your capital and also, never ever be a revenge trader.
-

-
Thank you for information, but binance.com still the best
-

But the worst is AZART! You need to restrain yourself in any situation.
-
In my ends, the main tip for trading is always notice the trend of bitcoin. This affect significantly to the price of altcoins. And dont forget set the stop loss, it is really important.
-

Yes,the patience is all. I think that it's also good to learn from your mistakes. That's how you can gain some experience
That’s correct. Also rechecking the strategies and trading according to what’s happening to the trends is also very important. Can’t say anything about the markets.
-
My simple advice would be to just have a clear motive entering each trade.
-
My simple advice would be to just have a clear motive entering each trade.
Right, but what if after entering that trade, markets move against you. There always have to be a plan B in store according to me.
-
Right, but what if after entering that trade, markets move against you. There always have to be a plan B in store according to me.
And that is where almost all of us fail. Some of us don’t even have one plan before starting to trade, forget about a plan B.
-
Exactly, without a plan your trades are going to go nowhere. If one is looking for consistency a trading plan is mandatory.
-
Newbies traders can use mirror trading for profit. It is not easy for a newbies trader to survive in the crypto world. Some times they put all their money in one trade that is not a good idea. Most of the newbie trader is very impatient. They want to make a lot of money very quickly. But people should look for the long run when they are trading.
-
This is a great selection! 8)
-
thank you useful
-
The internet is your best buddy. If you want to learn to trade, you gotta learn by doing. Its not going to come automatically. The only way out is to trade and learn from your mistakes.
Having said that, start with a small account. DO NOT TRADE ON TESTNETS.
While they might be useful to start with and familiarise yourself with the order placement procedure and what not, they do not help you in the real world to make money.
You might make a lot of money on the testnet, but it will be difficult to implement the same strategy on real accounts.
Grasp all information that you can on trading and get better at it day by day. To shortern the learning curve, you might want to check the 'The Trader's Perspective' series on https://bbod.io/blog.
Pretty cool platform imo.
But always, DYOR. Happy trading! 8) 8) ;)
-
My simple advice would be to just have a clear motive entering each trade.
Couldn’t be simpler. This is the most basic thing that any trader needs to be careful of.
-
thanks for the info!
-
I think, that first post with tips need some updates about exchanges, half of them is a not good for trading now
-
I think, that first post with tips need some updates about exchanges, half of them is a not good for trading now
What changes are you exactly talking about? Please elaborate.
-
Before stepping into trading or investment, make sure you have proper knowledge of these two, if you lack the knowledge, a little mistake can cause you very great loss. So be careful.
-
Binance , Kucoin as well yobit is one of the my favourite exchange for trading . Mostly time I used binance because of its leverage and margin trading faculties .
Bittrex is also a good exchange , because my elder brother used it.
-
This is a good post and informative post for many newcomers like us.A lot of good quality exchange data was found.
