Title: Ethereum has another fork legit or not on Jan 11
Post by: LaltctalksL on January 05, 2019, 12:51:22 PM
Classic Vision Hard Fork
Is this legit? I saw this on coinmarketcal and when I look into its website, I don't see any team member of this fork.
This is very suspicious for me.

These are the upcoming ETH HardForks:

📌 11.01.2019:
All Ethereum holders will receive 3 ETCV for each ETH in their wallets.

📌 12.01.2019:
Each ETH holder receives ETN in the ratio of 1:1 for free.

📌Conatantinople Fork:
16.01.2019 Constantinople Mainnet hard fork scheduled for block 7080000.
The Constantinople Mainnet hard fork is arguably the most significant fork because it is a big component of Ethereum’s transition from using a proof of work protocol to proof of stake.
This fork doesn't generate any new token!

If you can find minimal information about the ETCV coin, then nothing is known about ETN at all. Can anybody report the available information about the ETN coin?

If indeed the information is correct then we will get a free coins from the hardfork results later. Hope the price is not far from the ethere of the price itself. So we can get a double profit by saving Ethereum and get the results of the hardfork later. It is a very legit.

If there is no Team on the web, we must be suspicious, because now there are many projects that are scam, and because of the scam project, the cryptocurrency name becomes tarnished in the eyes of investors, and makes the crypto market lonely.

Guys, maybe it's scammers, but it's not 100% information, the project team did not say anything about this, although this article also says that it is likely scammers(

in January 2019, the Ethereum network will host a hard fork Constantinople, approved by Vitalik Buterin, which has already been supported by many large exchanges, including Binance, Houbi, etc.

However, despite the obvious choice of the chain by the vast majority of miners, developers and ordinary users, against the background of this event, several new coins are expected to appear:

Classic Vision,
Ethereum Nowa,
ERC-20 Blue.
It is worth adding that any of the listed projects is most likely a fraud created only for the purpose of obtaining money from the air.

I read some articles that on 16 January ETH will fork, the fork on Jan 11 seem can’t find any information about that, or maybe it has merged with Jan 16

As I know so far ETH will have two fork and one upgrade in January. The third upgrade they call it fork too so maybe people are misunderstanding about this one

If I have eth on exchange account then will I got ETCV and ETN?
Are these tokens valuable (could be sold in the future)?

There are three hardfork in ethereum platform this month but only constantinople upgrade concerns me. The other two hardforks are looks like a scam based on what I've gathered.

If you have this coin on the exchange for the period of the ethereum forks, then you are unlikely to get free new coins. It is better to move ethereum to MyEtherWallet for this period. In any case, the fork command ETCV recommends that. There is no information about the Ethereum Nowa coin at all. There were good reasons to consider this coin a fraud.

It seems that both forks - Ethereum Nowa and Ethereum Classic Vision (ETCV) turned out to be a fraud. In Ethereum Nowa tried to get the secret keys of users' wallets and the data about them was sent to a remote server.
The anonymous ICO ETCV team has closed its official website, and there is a panic in the group of their telegrams.

I read somewhere that it also requires you to input your private keys in their website. That is really dangerous. As a general rule, never ever send your private keys to anyone else (even your husband of wife) if you do not want to lose your coins and tokens.

I never heard of this news until now. I have not seen any discussions of ECTV and I think it's just another shitcoin if it's going to be true. And also, the Constantinople Hardfork is just like an upgrade and not really forking the network according to an article I have red. In just a few more days, I have a feeling most exchange will not function well without ethereum. So better withdraw what needs to be withdraw.

Keep calm bro, I see ethereum is still struggling now. But I believe ethereum will rise again,  Because ethereum is smart contract and many tokens used it.

Yep. ETCV scam. ETCV is not forked coin form ETH, just standard ERC20 token. And the real one of the upcoming ETH fork is Constantinople, but it seems, we won't get the free coin from Constantinople.
