Title: Stop Loss when Lost Capital 50%
Post by: ayatoslaw on January 12, 2019, 04:09:25 AM
everyone must have a standard when they have to stop losing,
if I am a holder or investor, I will release the coins that I hold when the price has fallen more than 50% of the initial capital,
usually this situation will get worse until the project returns to fame in the market and many people look for it.
then, what are your standards for cutting losses?
give your opinion.

Using trading management is something that must be done to avoid large losses. One of them is by setting a target loss with a stop loss. If you put a stop loss at 50%, it's too risky. Because still there are too many losses we can. It's better to put a stop loss in the area of 5% -10% whatever happens, even though after being hit the price will rise again. That is the limit of the risk we receive. Don't risk too much loss in a market that doesn't know its certainty.

I think stopping at 50 percent stop loss is also very dangerous. Because the odds are really high. 10 percent is an acceptable figure, but 50 percent I personally would not dare.

HODL!!! - that's what others will keep on saying until they are down close to 100% lol.

Seriously though, why should you wait for a 50% loss? Why not 20% or less?

Yeah you are right, it is better to hold our coins if it has decreased more and more. Losing 50% capital will really make us feel bad. We may think that it is difficult to see the condition of the market today, but being patient is much better than panic.

Setting stop loss at 50% is a lot already especially in the current market that we are in. Depending on your liquidity, you might want to just hold onto it and wait for a market recovery before selling. The ideal rate for me is around 10%.

I do not think you understood the point OP is making here. Try to read it again.

Losing our capital, moreover until reaching 50% is very sadly, but as we know, today we can see many people lose the capitals more than 50%. I personally also have some coins that lose more than 50% because I have bought the coins in early 2018 and it has nothing to do.
