2017 - the crypto market was dominated by hype. I still remember those times where an announcement of a whitepaper release or a gathering can easily pump the price of a certain coin or token. It was also a time where a single tweet from a crypto influencer (aside from McAfee) can instantly affect the price. ICOs also took notice of this and started hiring them as part of their "advisory board" to increase their token sale.
2018 - the crypto market changed a lot. Investors became smarter. Most of them scrutinize every project like never before. Announcements such as new partnerships no longer affects the price significantly. This was also the time where you rarely see a project with an anonymous team. Towards the end of the year, I noticed ICOs changed their strategy from hype to making sure they have a solid business model and working MVP.
2019 - Except newbies, I expect investors to learn from 2017 and 2018. Depending on regulations, we'll probably see less ICOs and more projects will probably seek funds thru Venture Capital, STOs and even IEOs (Initial Exchange Offerings).

Exactly this period (crypto winter), is a time to learn from mistakes, and redesign our investment strategy. This year, we will see a more mature market, and of course, new developments and projects in the blockchain/cryptocurrency sector.

I'm not expecting new ATH´s this year but still some kind of "crypto rush". The biggest catalyst should be Bakkt and consorts, Institutional investors will make cryptocurrency more famous and that will lead to more acceptance!

A lot of things are expected to happen and shake the cryptocurrency market. Constantinople, ETF, Bakkt are just a few of them. We'll probably see clearer regulations on crypto exchanges and ICOs this year.

I 100% agree with every word you said, investors indeed become so much smarter maybe the whole market condition gave them the push they need to reevaluate their investment strategies so market stats also helped in this, I also noticed a lot of projects changing to STO and a lot of them are now making sure to have MVP before launch which is a good things overall for Crypto space.

It is very hard to guess market sitution these days. Maybe somei mportant things might lead us to the right path, like BAKKT, ETF etc. but I still don't believe we will be able to guess the market situation correctly.

That's right and it seems that 2019-2020 will be the last for ICO and funds for launching projects will be collected in a new way, which may well have a positive effect on these coins and they will not sink so much in the market after the listing!

Investors are actually avoiding ICO projects already as indicated by the ongoing ICO reports as most of the projects are not meeting their soft caps. I really do not know if this is going to be the end of ICO.

I am not sure about 2019 being a tough year for beginners. I think they came in at a better time. If they bought BTC at $3K or Eth at $100, they would have doubled their capital by now. Frauds have also lessened I think since there are more proactive people exposing them. The new sales system (IEO/STO) does not necessarily hurt them either.

Certainly one's perception change time to time. Yes there was a time when a small positive news bring bullish movement in specific coin but time changes and after that many projects scammed last year. Now again strategy changes this year people believe more on IEOs and STOs. Now investors are also become smart. They are also looking for IEO's but I believe ICOs will again get momentum but for that there must be some regulations in ICOs so that none can be scammed by a project manager.

Agreed about that, those people that bought at that time are now enjoying their profits if they hold their coins/tokens
wisely. Buying the dip and holding for a long period of time is really a good strategy especially when a person is buying

As for the state of the crypto-currency market this year, then in the first half of the year, bitcoin grew by about two and a half times from about four to more than ten thousand dollars. This is very good. I do not think that in the future such a growth rate of cryptocurrency will continue.

I do not agree with your statement that, as for the future, the price of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrency will be stable. This will never happen. Decentralized cryptocurrency will always have high price volatility. Neither the general adoption of a cryptocurrency, nor its high price can affect it. Demand and supply for it will always be unstable. When the price of a cryptocurrency rises, its price volatility should even increase.

On the 2nd semester of 2019, and being away from crypto for 6 months, I've noticed, ICO is less nowadays compare last year. Now, ICO they are more prepared before launching their project. It seems like the market started to pick up and investors believing in crypto again.

In 2017, cryptocurrency was very booming, everybody converts their money in =to cryptos and hopes to earn more and more profits. however, after all, they were dumped until now. Today in 2019, the crypto market is still in the bear market, however, it is better than what happened in 2018 and early year of 2019. Crypto is always developing, but sometimes, it makes somebody feel sad because only follow the hype. That is why never join in crypot by the hype. I observe the market from year to year, as we know that 2017 is the peak of crypto glory. in 2018 the early bear market hit crypto. and in mid-2019 the beginning of recover market after the twists and turns was quite tense. I think crypto in 2020 is a green market again like in 2017.

We have seen crypto market behavior in the last 3 years and we have to adapt ourself according the market moves. Things has been changed very quickly in the crypto market. We all know its not a quick rich scheme. Patience, fundamental and trading knowledge is must to survive in the crypto market. Many countries are trying to regulate it. Obviously we have to learn from the changes of the market and we will see more STOs and IEOs ahead. In coming months we will see much better projects if some kind of regulation there we will see better days of ICOs again.

It is true. Commonly, crypto market this year has improved much better than the previous year. There is a big improvement in Bitcoin price, then altcoins have increased a bit to follow the Bitcoin raise. So far, I think crypto market may totally recover soon this year.

The market is in recovering stage but the Bitcoin was already rallying and the Altcoins was not really showing some impressive gains i dont understand what kind of sentiment is this. in my own opinion no money was entered in the crypto market but only pour on Bitcoin and not on the most altcoins. this is very different from 2017-2018 situation.
