Today we are hyped to be launching the Early Release of our horse manager game ZED.RUN. Our plan is to develop a futuristic experience with LIVE racing on the blockchain. Our vision goes well beyond any sense of traditional gaming. We want players to not only go on a journey with us, but we also want them to create a legacy with a star-studded stable full of the coolest digital racehorses on the web. We want you the player, to feel, sweat, cry and be filled with uncontrollable joy. Yes, we know our vision is ambitious, however, we are working so hard on ZED that our fingers are literally bleeding while we lay down lines of code to make this a reality.
We are absolutely stoked to be working with a small yet incredible team that has confessed to having dreamt about horses racing in zero gravity. You see, we live and breathe ZED, you could say that we are nuts.
From today, through our Early Release, you can get your hands on the rarest racehorses to ever exist in ZED. Nakamoto and Szabo are the rarest of the breeds, only these 2 bloodlines are being made available during our Early Release.
There are equal amounts of these racehorses being made available, this includes 1000, Z1 and 1000, Z2 Nakamoto and 1000, Z3 and 1000, Z4 Szabo to make up 4000. There are a total of 4 bloodlines with a complete set of genotypes from Z1 to Z10, however, only Z1 through to Z4 are included in the Early Release.
When you mate a ZED racehorse with one another, the offsprings genotype value is derived by adding its parent's combined genotype value. For example, a Z1 and a Z4 will birth a Z5. Therefore, you may have picked up on that it makes it impossible to breed a super fast pure-breed like a Z1. You better get your hands on one now.
In time, players will be able to manage, breed and race their stable of digital thoroughbreds. There are Fillies, Colts, Mares, and of course Stallions. Colts and Fillies are considered virgins until they mate.
A racehorse’s bloodline, genotype, and performance over time will dictate its demand, hence making each racehorse statistically unique and valuable. You can breed your racehorse with a stronger genotype if you want to cultivate a winning stable.
ZED will only ever be releasing a total of 38000 racehorses. After the Early Release of 4000 of the rarest racehorses, the remaining 34000 will be put up for auction on the ZED marketplace. If there are any unsold Nakomoto’s and Szabo’s, they will be held by ZED and occasionally made available to the community.

Yes, you are right, fingers are broken or erased in the blood on the keyboard - this is enchanting, but also reflects the desire of the team to perfection. Brainstorming, to eat, not to sleep, and to print a code - what could be more romantic?
