when investing or trading, there will always be a choice we have to cut loss.
if I personally really do not like the choice of cutloss, because it is very detrimental, especially if done continuously and never feel lucky,
sometimes this can undermine our determination,
so don't choose cut loss as the best choice when the assets you hold are down.
-
Do you mean using stop loss to stop the situation?
Or are there some other stop loss kind of things?

I agree your opinion about don't choose cut loss as the best choice when the assets you hold are down. We should keep spirit, hold and wait. Because I think Cryptocurrency will be the future currency.
-
It all depend on us whether to cut in loss or not. If you know the coin you are holding is not a good one then its better to cut the trade. But in my opinion if you are holding good potential coins then one should wait whether it is falling in value because booking loss is not a good solution when you know you have high potential coins.
-
Yes sometimes it can be the best solution but sometimes not.
In the bear season, it is better to cut loss before it is too late. And in the bull season sometimes loss can lead to a bigger gain. It is really sensitive
-
That is not a good advice. Do not suggest people not to cut losses before their coins go down even further.
-
Stop loss is part of the correct trading management, it is done to minimize losses when we make purchases on the market. But if you have to do it when we have bought high prices and held back for a long time, this is not a solution that must be lived. It's better to remain in custody and wait in a few more years to make a profit.
-
Yes, I believe you are right about this. IF I believe in the project, I'd buy more and more on the way. That's why I choose hodling instead of trading.
-
It depends on how "down" are you in your losses. For example, if you are down 80%, it is not advisable to sell. But if you are down by 20%, then cutting losses is a good option rather than wait for your losses to increase.
-
There is no one fixed choice that we all can choose, in my holdings, I have tokens that I know I should have sold even with losing a long time ago and others that I know keep holding them was the best option, we have to evaluate our options for every token/coin we are holding and make a separate research before we take our decision.
-
That's right, selling your assets in a falling market is not the way out, it’s much easier to leave all your coins and wait until the market grows again!
-
the cut loss, can be profitable and can be detrimental. depending on the condition you wear it. but cut loss is not recommended. more patient to see the price conditions than you often cut loss.

Cut loss is a way to prevent your portfolio to become 0 before its happened, but why will you want to do it. If from the start you only invest with money you are afford to lose and you are confident in the investments then just let it be.

I think stop loss is a good way when you trading. But it is not good idea. selling your assets when the price is falling, It is not profitable

I agree with you mate. I dont like cut loss, You will lose alot when the market is going down, then you sell your coin.

Usually a trader cut loss is not more than 30-40% of initial price.. now many crypto investors have tokens with value that is <70-80% compared to initial price so cut loss is not the best option in these cases.
