As mining to eth consume lots of electricity so it will ultimately affect the environment.
At what cost we are ready for the mining of eth ?

Well, talking about the cost of mining ETH, it depends on a lot of factors (no single cost is established). The costs of the machinery (GPU) is one factor which does not have a fixed price depending on how sophisticated and fast it works - Radeon R9 295X2, Radeon R9 HD 7990, Radeon RX 480, all have their own prices.
The electricity charges depends on which country you are in. Electricity charges vary in different countries.
-
Your question is very valid, but in many countries, electricity is created by environmentally friendly processes like hydro electric dams, solar and wind. I have recently seen news about mining operations that run on massive solar farms.
-
Maybe a little bit because you consume electricity a day so definitely it will affect but its not eth itself affect environment in simple mining only there are many consumers electricity like computer shops etc. That use more electricity so they can affect too.
-
No, i think its the most ecological way for a planet!
-
electricity is mostly produced using the environment and mining involves the use of more of this service. this increases the use of this service hence indirectly affecting the environment.
-
it depends how much miner you have, the more the miner the greater the electric bill you will pay. If the problem of influence for the environment I think only from the sound of minernya alone that makes people feel disturbed
-
Yup. The more people try to mine the more electricity needs to be consumed. The effect to our environment is another pollution. It creates a heat pollution because the more miner the more electricity volume must be use.
-
The effect of ethereum to the environment is attracting the people to invest on it. Miners, bounty, investors, and all ethereum group are all in to make ethereum more worth for the particular uses. It will become more popular.
-
This cannot be overlooked as crypto adoption is increasing and so as its mining. Countries who accept Crypto and is determined to use crypto to expand its economy would have to increase it electricity supply. However, some countries already have systems in place to cater for the increase in technology use, therefore those countries wouldn't suffer a great deal.
-
Ethereum will affect the environment in terms of mining as it consumes electricity. But, as far as I know not only ethereum are minable. There are so many coins that can mine so it means all coins that minable are included that can affect our environment.
-
Pollution is inevitable, today's technology presents humans with a lot of hazards, Ethereum mining is also part of this, so I believe the best we can do is to develop mining gadgets with minimal impact on the environment
-
running your air conditioner uses electricity. The percentage of people that mine compared to using your air conditioner is a percentage of a percent.
-
Indeed Eth pollutes the environment through its technology but it can be limited by the use of environmental friendly technologies in its process.
-
Yes of course it will. I think that blockchain technology as such will influence a nature a lot in the future. Perhaps ether will too in this or that way.
-

Look at the effects of cars on the environment, but aside from a few emissions laws, which helped but not enough, we still drive cars, and in some areas pollution from cars is massive. I think renewable energy is the key for mining, it only costs a little bit more, and while significantly higher for consumer, it should be affordable for mining.
-
Yes, mining of eth and other cryptocurrencies consumes a lot of electricity and thus affect environment. This could be lessened if the source of energy comes from environmental friendly sources such as solar, wind, etc.

Yes I think mining is very noisy, It will affect the environment. So We must use reducer.
-
I think Ethereum vannot affect our environment because mostly of the power plants now are using electic eco friendly machines. With this, this will not create harm to our eco system.
-
most other platforms that market themselves as Ethereum killers also have drawbacks. The blockchain ecosystem is so young that it will be naive to think that there is a perfect platform. If most of them are tested on the Ethereum scale, they will be destroyed.
-
Not only does the etherium pollute the atmosphere, but also bitcoin also affects pollution. And what if using solar panels for electricity production?Perhaps this is not so much affected pollution.
-
Yes, it is true with what you say, that with so much electrical energy to mine ethereum it will affect the environment, and I think the cost to mine ethereum is enough to cost 60 million.

I prefer participate in bounty and trading now , I think mining will effect on environment, It is very noisy.
