Title: Binance simplified buy crypto with credit cards.
Post by: Paha87 on February 02, 2019, 03:42:18 AM
Binance, the world's largest crypto-exchange by adjusted trading volume, has made it easier for users to buy cryptocurrencies using credit cards.

On Thursday, the exchange announced that it has entered into a partnership with the Israeli firm for processing Simplex payments to make purchases of cryptocurrency using Visa and MasterCard credit cards. At launch, the exchange supports credit card purchases for bitcoin (BTC), ether (ETH), litecoin (LTC), and ripple (XRP). These currencies can then be exchanged for 151 other tokens offered by the exchange.

Binanc CEO, Changping Zhao, said:

The crypto industry is still in an early stage and most of the world's money is still in a static state. Creating gateways is what we need now to develop the ecosystem, accelerate the introduction and adoption of cryptocurrency for more users.

According to the Binance terms and conditions pages, some countries are excluded from the service, including Iraq, Cuba, Afghanistan and Libya. Six States are also not supported in the US: new York, Connecticut, Hawaii, Georgia, new Mexico, and Washington.

As for fees, Simplex charges 3.5% of the transaction with a minimum amount of $ 10 (fixed fee). The daily limit is $ 20,000 per user and the maximum monthly limit is $ 50,000 per user. The company says:

Payment processing the Simplex is governed by the policies of the local Bank. Some issuing banks may decline fees on their own terms, regardless of whether users are in a supported jurisdiction.

Founded in 2014, Simplex attracted 7 millions of dollars within funding round series A in February 2016. Among the investors were, in particular, mining companies Bitmain and Cumberland Mining, crowdfunding platform FundersClub (which previously invested in Coinbase). Back in November, the payment firm entered into a partnership agreement with the Singapore crypto exchange Cucoin to enable traders to buy bitcoin, ethers and litecoin using credit and debit cards.

Earlier this month, Binance launched a new Fiat crypto exchange on the island of Jersey, a British self-governing territory allowing users to exchange bitcoin and ether for the British pound and the Euro. In October last year, she also opened a store in Uganda, which allowed to exchange cryptocurrency for Ugandan shilling and back.
