Facebook, was the first company to teach people, to give away their privacy. Cryptocurrency, is about privacy. I see something fishy, in this blockchain project.

Facebook understand that the blockchain technology can bring a huge amount of money to them and that is why they are developing to the maximum in this area, their management understands that cryptocurrency is the future.
-
Of course it can, given that Facebook probably sees how often the blockchain technology has been used, so they also need to change something.
-
I don't like this idea.
Facebook is going to create it's own crypto curriency and I am sure it won't be secured.

This is a good news and a positive uptrend to the cryptocurrency market. We need big companies like Facebook and google to take part in the blockchain innovation to make crypto strong

Here in the Philippines, almost all people have facebook accounts. (even childrens! I admit as me and wifey created an account for our son! LoL). I think they are still testing it out and see what is the best! Applying the blockchain technology will be an advantage as it the future. That means facebook does not want to get out dated! Their purpose though is hidden but I dont think Mark will do something to ruin his reputation. I mean I know a lot of cases has been filed against facebook but so far, facebook is the most user-friendly social media account I have unlike Twitter.

This is a good progress if Facebook uses blockchain technology. I also read the news if Facebook will make its own crypto products. Let's just wait for what will happen if everything really happens.

When you talk of facebook what comes to mind is the Cambridge Analytica scandal. Facebook has trust issues, using the blockchain will give it credibility as the blockchain is transparent and immutable
-
Of course, this will entail huge changes. The market declined strongly after Facebook banned posts with cryptocurrency.
