One Japanese IT moguls, GMO Internet, is going to release first stablecoin based on yen. The currency will be called GYEN and is currently under developing and is planned to launch in 2019.

Japan and South Korea have always been the best in the automotive industry and digitals, these two countries continue to clash skills in the creation of these technologies.
Stable coins from Japan will certainly exist because Japan does not want to miss out on technological advances in cryptocurrency.

You think this stablecoin has a chance to become popular and important in Japan?

Of course, Japan is now is the process of using cryptocurrency and they need stable coins to for them to easily work on the market. Japan is a rich country with rich people and they are wise enough to simply accept cryptocurrency.
