Yes it can but I do not think it will happen immediately after the hardfork.

Making improvements in ethereum right away will not give a positive effect. Such an effect will appear gradually, as far as the practical positive accumulation of user confidence in this coin. Therefore, the ethereum price increase will occur gradually and taking into account the general state of the cryptocurrency market. If the market will gradually grow, then the rise in the ethereum price to $ 200 is quite real.

I don't know, and I guess no one can guarantee the rate to $200 after the upgrade. It is a hard question for crypto users. I think we just need to monitor the development. We must be patient to see the high rate. It needs a time to ensure all people.

I think if there was an update from ethereum team, then ethereum would reach 200$, but I look at the cryptocurrency market and at the ethereum price and I don’t see any upward steps, maybe the update will be postponed again.

No the upgrade has been official and Binance has announced that they will support this upgrade too, let’s wait how ETH can perform this time

That was most likely to happen if the system upgrade is successful unlike the previous one that have security issues. If they successfully pull this off, I'm sure that they will likely reach $200 and higher.

Well, for now, the price of ETH hits around $133.79 and probably will change again some minutes later. Regarding the ability of Ethereum to hit around $200 this year, I really hope so and I think so. ETH is one of the most trusted cryptocurrency and used for many kinds of payment and transaction method among the altcoins. I believe that it should have a more worthy thing and price this year. At least around half to the end of this year, hopefully reaching $200 will not be difficult again for this coin.

If the price of THhereum is now around 140 USD, there is still hope that it can break 200 USD.
But if Ethereum reaches 500 USD, I think it's too far away, because now Bitcoin and all cryptocurrency are drunk on a straight road. LOL

We know that All Time High from Ethereum is around + 1k USD, and now the price of Ethereum is 150 USD.

Agree with you. Ethereum looks very possible to increase up to $200 both with the upgrade or not. The current trend on Ethereum is very positive, actually I quite happy with the improvement. Even if altcoins prices don't depend on Ethereum, I think it may trigger the rise on other altcoins.

I am surely believe that there will be a great rise on Ethereum coin after the upgrade. This will surely reached $200 to $300 within this year. More of the investors will have a great profit in the near future.

It is always possible since this number is a bit small, Ethereum had once reach further than the value you have given. But the effect of bitcoin as you have said may not be a good indication that ethereum is really a coin that stands by itself or usage is really realistic. It is very much possible that too many are just holding it, instead of really using it for utility or intended purpose which can give it a strong value or price that may not be affected by bitcoin value changes.

It not happening now! The price still at $160 - 180 support. I love seeing ethereum to even surpass and return to $1k price but unless bitcoin remain at the lowest, our dream for a $200 up to $1000 is still unknown. Ethereum is dependent on the price of bitcoin so I think we could all see the peak when btc move upward.

$200 is not far away from the current price, I think it can be reached in 2019. But I don't know on what month it will be reached. Ethereum price is growing very well, it can increase higher.

Hopefully, I think the ethereum price can reach $200 in somewhere around June/July this year but I don't think we are going to see the ethereum upgrade anytime soon.
