Ripple is deemed as a cryptocurrency for the banking system which makes it be hated by some crypto enthusiast Ripple is a good crypto coin that is decentralized and centralized. A network designed to move value around the world, mainly aimed at banks and payment providers. Yes, it's technology is serving the banking system. Does that make it less a cryptocurrency?

I think that's just the judgment of people and it takes an unusual time to judge that.
I see this is also a problem for crypotcurrency drivers, but the fact is that Ripple is still much in demand by many people, including Bankers.
