Sorting Box / Re: No bounty detective Campaigns now
« on: September 13, 2020, 07:04:31 PM »
After CORX signature campaign, I don't add any new signature because bounty detective break down this week with new projects.

Who is bounty detective and where can we follow his bounties?

Investing in cryptocureency is a very good thing, where you can change you financial story all at once, but using the right way will lead you there. Never should you take LOAN to invest in cryptocureency, it is risky and very disastrous if it goes wrong. That is why the basic rule of cryptocureency remains never invest what you can't afford to lose. Invest wisely.

That's a platitude, but nevertheless correct.

Sorting Box / Re: SLeepless nights doing bounty campaign is it worth it?
« on: September 09, 2020, 10:56:10 AM »
I know that there are other members here working day and night doing bounty campaigns. But i think that doing bounty campaigns is not worth it especially if you had a lot of work during the day. Some are just boasting on their bounty campaign earning wherein fact maybe because they are lucky to receive those awards but somehow do not wish that you could be like them because some of the ICO project that you will going to work will not give bounty rewards and some of it will fail, or just pause. So no reason for sleeping late at night.

I think the better option is to have a decently paid job and then invest. Bounty hunters are second rated people, and they are often treated like that also. Bounty hunting is most of the time like squeezing juice from dried fruit. Although once in a while, just once in a while, you may hit the jackpot and be rewarded nicely.

Of course it also depends where you live. An Indian or African will be happier with his bounty rewards than a western European, simply because life in Europe is more expensive than in Africa or Asia (in general).

Sorting Box / Re: how to find out which Bounty is not a scam
« on: September 09, 2020, 10:51:21 AM »
Truly, in 2018 bounty campaign is not 60% scam but around 80% scam, the reason is various, failed softcap or dumped price

Failed softcap or dumped price does not make a bounty or a project a scam. There's much scam in crypto but also much failure that isn't scam. Sometimes projects (or persons) are too easy accused of scamming.

Sorting Box / Re: Should we limit members in one campaign?
« on: September 09, 2020, 10:48:12 AM »
Do you want centralisation or decentralisation? Limiting the number of participants means centralisation. The idea of decentralisation in this matter means that you let the market self-regulate the amount of participants. The more participants a bounty attracts the less incentive there will be for new ones to participate. I personally have a neutral stance in this by the way. Different projects set different rules. Some projects dissapoint me and some positively surprise me.

Yeah, I agree with the posts above. BTC and ETH still rule the market. I always try to have some of both in my portfolio.

Sorting Box / Re: Is KYC needed?
« on: September 09, 2020, 10:35:32 AM »
I overall dislike KYC's. In projects that display integrity and professionality I don't find it a big deal. In first attempts I cover my tax number on the passport though (in Dutch the unique 'citizen service number') to ensure that fraude is prevented. Not all projects accept this though. Some projects hire third parties that are specialized in KYC's, but that's not always reassuring either because such third parties often do not display integrity or user friendliness. Then there are some bounty managers that demand it. Usually I try to avoid such bounties. Although recently I participated in one, just because the project is so awesome. In the meantime I have come to accept that my KYC data is out there. What's the worst that could happen?

Basic questions about this forum / Site advertisement
« on: September 09, 2020, 10:21:35 AM »
I read the following rule: "5- Do not advertise your site anywhere in the forum expect in the advertise section:"

Does that also mean that it is not allowed to post website advertisements in classic announcement threads? Or do these fall in a different category?

Basic questions about this forum / Re: Being a jr member
« on: September 09, 2020, 10:16:13 AM »
Hi good day every one. I just want to ask how long to be a jr. Member and how many post to have??

Be active on the forum.

20 posts - Jr. Member
60 posts - Full Member
120 posts - Sr. Member
500 posts - Hero Member

Oh my. Only 500 posts to become a Hero Member? And just 20 to level up to Jr.? That doesn't sound too hard. Even I would be able to do that.

Basic questions about this forum / Re: No external links allowed?
« on: September 09, 2020, 10:13:38 AM »
Hello arrrvin,

your rank is too low for posting external links. So you must wait and rank up. Or you can purchase Express rank.

Express rank
It is a rank for those of you that want to post a bounty /airdrop / ANN or any other kind of post in which you need to include links.
Usually if you are active (posting, replying and online) for few days on the forum, you will be able to include links in your posts after few days.
But for those who are in a hurry, and want to quickly be able to do so, we are introducing the Express rank.

Look here if you want to have Express rank: https://www.altcoinstalks.com/index.php?topic=146555.0

Have a nice day

Thanks. I can't afford an express rank, so I'll try to chat my way up untill I will be able to post meaningfull posts. Thanks for the answer.

Basic questions about this forum / No external links allowed?
« on: August 26, 2020, 03:08:58 PM »
I want to post an ANN thread where I want to post only project related news posts. I would gather those under the 'quality' posts. But when I try to post  the thread the forum says that I am not allowed to post external links. Now since other threads do contain external links I guess this has to do with my forum status. Is there no solution to this? Should I chitchat my way towards a higher forum ranking so that I will finally be able to post more qualitative posts? I'm not much of a chitchatter unfortunately. Suggestions are welcome.
