I personally have always avoided pumps no matter what, I don't even want to know whether it's a pump and dump activity or whether the coin is actually going up naturally, I prefer to buy into a coin when they are very calm in price, not when they are pumping, and this is because I've leant the hard way, many times I've tried to catch a pump I ended up getting burnt, several coins I bought in pump and ended up selling them at a great now, have really taught me lessons I never forget.
