The proposed proof of reserves check is meant to guarantee investors confidence but the manner at some CEX exchanges are going about it may not stand the text of time, some authors who did contracted by certain CEX exchanges for the proof of reserves checks could not carry out the exercises, unfortunately, no concrete reason we’re giving. I think that the crypto exchanges may get these audit organized in near because it is like there may not be trust on the exercise on the current conditions of the FTX saga. I think there may be some sentiment being playing out, in my opinion.
yes i do agree with the statement.

The United States Attorney for the District of Maryland, Damian Williams, stated that Greenwood ran one of the largest international fraud schemes that have ever been perpetrated and claimed that Greenwood promoted OneCoin as a competitor to Bitcoin when, in reality, the tokens were entirely worthless.

All this unnecessary issues of proof of reserves checks are just the outcome of FTX saga, though the audit is a good idea but it is increasingly becoming political, and witch hunting of certain persons thought to be from one region that is perceived not to have gotten rich, popular among other negative things. I have been  following some claims by some persons at the hearing of the FTX investigations but unfortunately, many are trying to bring in outsiders, to create confusion. I am still watching the event as it unfolds.
Yes, I do agree with it.

Blockchain is a type of database that is used to store and secure data, while Web 3 refers to the next generation of the web, where data is more interconnected and machine-readable.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Altcoin in the future ?

YES, I do believe altcoins are the future. No, doubt there have been ups and downs in the altcoins but many of them have good and strong backing. They have a good projects behind those currencies. So, altcoins are the future too.

I don't think so. The crypto regulated exchanges are still on the top. And with the start of "Proof of Reserves" the people will have a more wider and transparent look to the cryptos on various exchanges.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Paper Money vs. Digital Currency
« on: December 19, 2022, 02:18:42 PM »
In the next 10 years, we are unlikely to switch to digital currency. The dominance of paper money is too great, in my opinion, it should take at least 50 years for society to accept digital money and abandon paper money.
Yes, I do believe that paper money still has the dominance but 50 years don't you think you are saying it more. With the ongoing of the superfast internet services and there upgradation it will not take that long.

There are several rumors in the market some says they will ban and some say they will regulate it but exactly we don't know what is going to happen in my opinion, if they want to ban cryptocurrencies they would do it a long time back so I think they will regulate it with some conditions. Rest it depends on the political approach of the ruling party if they consider it optimistically so we can expect some positive news from Russia.
yes, exactly political can have some amendments. But they will regulate it at the end.

Sorting Box / Re: How to start investing on metaverse proejcts?
« on: December 14, 2022, 02:27:20 PM »
I believe metaverse projects need more time for growing more. They're very trendy, it's true but they're not at their maximum potential. I've been following MetaverseME and it's basically, real yourself in the virtual world. You could avatar yourself in here and it seems very potent tbh.
Yes it is true. They are in the starting stage only. But to get it's true potential you need to see the true power of the project and what it holds. Now like certain companies are being engaged with the metaverse projects like starbucks, subway, jp morgan etc. So you need to analyse if they are doing and going to the specific project, you also need to see it. This is my point of view. You need to DYOR.

Sorting Box / Re: Which crypto exchange took low fees?

Any recommendations for exchanges with fees as low as 0.5?

I don't know how FUD helps them grow, but taking out so much of money from the exchange, makes it a bit suspicious.

I think ripple is very potential, because ripple ever had big problem at the past.
But ripple can recover again.
It's the proof, ripple has good team behind their project.
Hopefully ripple will more expensive at the coming years
I also do believe that ripple has good team behind their project. So it can give good positive results in the near future.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Still buying new tokens and coins?
« on: December 12, 2022, 01:24:21 PM »
I am buying the cheap tokens and coins with DYOR and seeing the project behind it. I am buying with the money I am least bothered about. So, it depends on your research and a bit intuition as well.

Decentralization is good, but at the same time, it introduces elements of uncertainty into the operation of the new financial mechanism in the safe operation of cryptocurrency due to the almost impunity of hackers and the intervention of various scammers. Many have already noticed that the establishment of certain rules and procedures increases the security of working with cryptocurrency. The social structure of society has been formed over many millennia, and so far there is no alternative to establishing general rules of conduct in any society and in any area. Therefore, centralized exchanges are now enjoying some success.
I totally agree with you. Before I also loved the concept of decentralisation. I still am can say but security and the intervention of hackers, lot of problems.
