Ethereum Forum / Ethereum vs. NEO.
« on: September 06, 2018, 09:36:32 PM »
These two projects have certain things in common and that is, firstly, Neo and Ethereum are both blockchain projects specifically designed to host smart contracts, ICOs, and DApps in a decentralized manner. Their respective blockchains are fueled by crypto-assets (GAS in NEO, Ether in Ethereum). What are the possible deferences between both projects.

The cryptocurrency industry has undoubtedly had its fair share of naysayers, with many critics of blockchain-based assets claiming that Bitcoin, Ethereum, and altcoins are nothing more than fads, which are set to fail in a few months time. And while critical onlookers bombard the cryptosphere with misbeliefs on a near-daily basis, many experts within the industry remain unfazed. I think this is boost to meand all crypto enthusiasts, what do you take of this rating ? Thanks

Dash Forum / what does Dash do better than Bitcoin?
« on: August 28, 2018, 03:58:56 PM »
Dash was lunched to complements Bitcoin short comings and Dash developers baked their new blockchain to be the world’s first self-funding and self-governed blockchain protocol, with instant payments running on a network of incentivized Masternodes. What are some of the key ingredients Dash introduced that Bitcoin doesn’t have? Your thoughts.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Softcap or hardcap?
« on: August 25, 2018, 08:31:46 AM »
I have been wondering concerning the success of most start up projects in recent time. A recent concluded project said they were successful but did not hit hard cap, only they meet softcap. Now, i think a successful project, in my opinion, are projects that hit both soft and hardcap respectively. What do you think?

Since Bitcoin (BTC) started the cryptocrrency start up in 2909, and the appearance of Ethereum (ETH) supported it, cryptocurrency started appearing almost on a daily basis. Most altcoins tried to improve on the previous coins, to explore new areas of business, and to try and create a place for themselves in the vast world of digital currency.

Since then, the total number of altcoins exceeded 1500, as per CoinMarketCap. With so many crypto around, it is really hard, if not impossible to find the one with the most potential. However, after following the market for quite some time, experts believe that a lot of these coins will die out very soon. What do you think? Thanks

I have been wondering why most start up projects will come with excellent white papers that convinced many investors, and bounty participants yet ended up been a scam. How can we sort this legit white Papers from the fake? Thanks

Cryptocurrency discussions / What could be the keys to trading success?
« on: August 14, 2018, 09:09:20 PM »
I have learnt that Risk is what traders live and die by. If you don't risk anything, you can't make money, but if you don't control your risk, then you might find your account in tatters very quickly. Give some of the keys to a successful trade.

« on: August 11, 2018, 11:13:36 PM »

Monero Forum / As a matter of investment, Monero or bitcoin?
« on: August 09, 2018, 09:40:01 PM »
At this moment in time, if Monero and bitcoin were equally valued with same sized infrastructure, which crypto would you have, to spend, to hold, and to receive? Is one that announces all that you have, when and how much you spent? Or is it one that is so private, fungible and untraceable?  Share your thoughts.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Pump and dump situation
« on: August 06, 2018, 11:43:44 PM »
Pump and dump is a strategy used by many creators of altcoins, they inflat the price of a new coin on exchanges artificially, and when they heard succeeded to sell their coins/token, they dump the project and vanish. Do think that there are ways to know that a coin is a "pump and dump" project?

Cryptocurrency discussions / The cryptocureency advantages?
« on: July 31, 2018, 03:33:49 PM »
I think that there is no other electronic cash system in which your account isn’t owned by someone else. Take PayPal, for example: if the company decides for some reason that your account has been misused, it has the power to freeze all of the assets held in the account, without consulting you. It is then up to you to jump through whatever hoops are necessary to get it cleared, so that you can access your funds. With cryptocurrency, you own the private key and the corresponding public key that makes up your cryptpcurrency address. No one can take that away from you (unless you lose it yourself, or host it with a web-based wallet service that loses it for you). I also think there are other advantages to share together.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Can Crypto be more valuable than gold ?
« on: July 30, 2018, 05:30:40 AM »
I have thought that one key advantage crypto (bitcoin, litecoin, Dash, monero etc.) has over gold is that its supply level is fixed and transparent, but can this or features make crypto more valuable than gold?

165
Gold is a precious metal with an extremely limited supply, and silver is a precious metal, limited in supply, but not to the degree of gold. The historic gold/silver ratio is right around 16:1, meaning 16 ounces of silver would equal 1 ounce of gold. The current ratio of gold to silver is approximately 64:1, or 0.015625. Bitcoin was designed to be a digital equivalent of gold, and thus has an extremely limited supply, and is “mined” in a digital representation of gold mining. Litecoin is limited in supply, but not to the degree of Bitcoin. The designed ratio between BTC and LTC is 4:1, meaning that in the ultimate final count, there will be four litecoins for every one bitcoin. If this is true, can bitcoin remain the gold while other coin/token be silver and  diamond respectively? Thank you
