Is it a good idea to shift to cryptocurrencies for payments? Are we here yet? I have read many articles saying that the future is of digital currencies and we should be using cryptocurrencies instead of cash. But how feasible it actually is? And if so, what are our options of cryptocurrencies that can replace cash?

Is it true that most of the altcoins will not survive the next cryptocurrency apocalypse? What about newer cryptocurrencies with actual use cases. I think having actual uses will help these cryptos to maintain their price and have a healthy demand in the market. This might also help them survive the market shift. Do you think so?

Incentivised Posting / Shill / Hey Everyone, can anybody suggest me
« on: August 28, 2019, 08:57:13 AM »
Hey Everyone, can anybody suggest me some good online automated investment platforms where we can invest in pre-vetted early-stage or seeding companies, and hold a diverse portfolio at the same time?

Back few days, I have heard about one such emerging fintech investment platform called DCI Ecosystem that enables accredited investors to invest in emerging startups, projects, etc. by purchasing their digital shares issued on the blockchain. Should I go for it? If yes, what are the downsides?

I have been researching some crypto projects that in my opinion are “worth investing in”. However, one trend that I saw in most of the projects is that, no matter how promising they seem, they fail to deliver on time. In that regard, I appreciate the efforts of the Pieta team, which is at least delivering on its promises. It makes me think that they might actually turn out to be a great project this year. What’s your opinion about it?

So, I was reading this article about the different types of cryptocurrencies and found it interesting to know that utility tokens and security tokens are two different things (yes, I didn't know that). Now, I am worried how it is going to impact my existing investments. Should I re-adjust?

Crypto Exchanges / I want to know if it is true. And how so?
« on: August 22, 2019, 09:02:27 AM »
I recently joined the P2PB2B exchange as I was looking for a more affordable option for trading Bitcoins and other cryptos. I also came to know that Pieta token, FST, and BWN are also being listed to the exchange,  so I guess I can trade those as well. However, I have a concern. I recently read comments of some of the users here, who claim that P2PB2B is not exactly a good exchange platform. So, I want to know if it is true. And how so? Should I trade through this platform or not?

Cryptocurrency discussions / Is this a good sign?

I am a supporter of Pieta Ecosystem project and supporting this project from the last 6 months as I invested my money in it. Now, they are going to be listed on P2PB2B platform by 26th August. I think this is the sign of trust that they are serving. What do you think about this? Is this a good sign of achieving the milestone, gaining investor trust and delivering what was promised earlier?

Cryptocurrency discussions / This Is Why Titan Coin is a Top Altcoin
« on: August 14, 2019, 02:18:48 PM »

Titan Coin is a powerful, experimental cryptocurrency that was created as a way to enable people to send/receive digital currencies anywhere in the world in a fast and secure manner. Titan Coin works on the blockchain technology, same as most altcoins out there, but it employs a hybrid blockchain for improving the security of transactions through hybrid PoS/PoW consensus mechanism.

Titan Coin is different from most other altcoins out there in many things. These are the things that make it a truly revolutionary coin and one you should be exploring.

Within just a year of its launch, Titan Coin has become one of the top trading coins of the year. Here’s why.

Titan Projects

Unlike most other altcoins out there, titan coin is backed by actual projects. According to the forecast, 2019 is going to be the year of the cryptocurrencies that provide real value to the users. Titan coin passes in that test with flying colors, as the coin gives its holders access to multiple platforms, available in the form of mobile apps, which are usable in the day-to-day lives of the common people.

Titan apps include a Smart Dating App, which will allow users to find and connect with new people and socialize anywhere and at any time using a mobile application. The Titan dating app will be released soon.

Other Titan projects include a fantasy sports game app, a family security app and a sales team reporting app. All these apps will be available for Android and iOS devices. The users of these apps can use their titan coins for secure payment.

Titan Blockchain

The Titan coin and projects are based on a next-gen blockchain technology, which uses Hybrid POW & dynamic POS SHA 256+ Groestl (Dual Algorithm) for validating and processing transactions on the network. The security SHA256+ standard used by Titan blockchain is the same as used by Bitcoin and multiple other top cryptocurrencies.

Titan coin has enabled for staking through a POS (proof of stake) system that pays 2.5 percent per year.

Instant Payments

Titan coin is a payment currency by default. Through its unique PoS/PoW architecture, the coin will allow users to make immediate (almost instant) digital payments to anyone, anywhere across the globe. The processing speed of Titan coin is much faster as compared to other coins, while the transaction fee is lower.

Self-sustainable

One of the major reasons why cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin could not find their place in the real payment world is because they were too dependent on others. Titan coin, on the other hand, comes with a self-sustainable ecosystem, where new economic applications will be created and added on a regular basis, providing unlimited usage opportunities for the coin and its holders.

Titan platform will be enabled to use across both in-house and external applications in a range of niches from cloud computing to data storage to support system and more.

Do you often wish you knew certain things about cryptocurrencies before you start investing in them? I do. For me, I find it useful to know everything about a particular commodity before I purchase it. Whether it is stocks or cryptocurrencies, I do my research before I invest. What are the things you look for or wish to know about cryptocurrencies?

General Discussion / Can anybody suggest me is it a good idea
« on: August 13, 2019, 12:53:57 PM »
Hi everyone, I am active in the investment market for past years and now looking to diversify my portfolio courtesy high risk-taking ability. I am planning to invest in international stocks, but don't want to go for brokerage platforms like Interactive Brokers, etc. as they charge hefty fees against it.

I have recently heard about one fintech platform, i.e., DCI Ecosystem claiming to charge minimal fees for international stock trading from investors. It also allows investors to manage all their traditional and tokenized investments at one place, with one tool.

Can anybody suggest me is it a good idea to invest in international stocks through such new & innovative (fintech) investment platforms like DCI? If yes, what are the legal and security risks?

Today, most of the new mining networks are following the partnership or sharing system, where the investors, miners and other participants of the network are given a certain share in the profits. For instance, Pieta’s mining system gives about 20% of the platform profits to its investors. But, I want to know to what extent such profit-sharing systems can work. Can they be trusted?

43
Until now, I have always wondered why more of new blockchains are choosing PoS over PoW. After a little research on the internet and reading articles about Proof-of-stake, I came to know that PoS consumes much less energy as compared to PoW, because of its stake-based mining phenomenon. Since I have recently invested in Titan coin, which uses hybrid PoS consensus, I am trying to learn more about this mining mechanism. What all you have to say about it?

44
Even after reading so many articles on the internet, I am still not clear as to how people research the authenticity of a potential altcoin before investing in it. I have invested in two altcoins in the past and both of them turned out to be fraud. One article I read says that “most of the altcoins that exist today will not see any real projects.” Is it true?: https://www.cryptopolitan.com/how-to-research-on-potential-altcoins-how-to-judge-their-potential/

There are some coins in the article that sounds promising. Should I be looking into it? Or should I stick to Bitcoin only? Honestly, I do not have a lot of trust in bitcoin, given its ever-changing price.

Crypto currency Mining / There is one thing that confuses me
« on: August 07, 2019, 01:33:32 PM »
I have had a chance to explore more about the Pieta project and I was quite impressed with what I found. I project sounds promising and the team determined enough to achieve what they are saying. But there is one thing that confuses me. Where and how are they going to produce solar energy? The team, as I was informed, is originally from Arab, but there they already produce electricity from oil, so how are they going to make solar power for mining? Kindly explain.
