It's happening, new all time high on Coinbase at $1,440. Poloniex is still a few dollars away with preious ATH at $1,473. Current price: $1,425.

Expect the other exchange ATHs to also be broken soon imo

Ethereum Forum / Ethereum or DeFi projects?

Another year, another 4 figure Ethereum is currently playing out, just $100 or so dollars from all time high. But what investments will perform better in 2021; Ethereum and further 2.0 launch with 1.8 billion Ether locked in staking, or DeFi projects with their locked markets cap of currently 6.6 million Ether?

I think ETH will do very well, but I have a suspicion that certain DeFi projects will out perform eventually, even if dump much further in the next bear market in a year or so. Personally I hope to accumulate more Ether for next year by investing in defi this year, knowing that some have 10-100x potential still.

Voting / 1 BTC or 32 ETH?

I've noticed that there appears to remain some form of "parity" between the cost of an Ethereum beacon chain node (32 ETH) and 1 Bitcoin. Very recently BTC was worth much more than 32 Ether, but now remains slightly less again at 31.35 ETH. Previously it was also equal when Bitcoin was around $10-20K and Ethereum at $300-400, then was 32 Ether was worth considerably less in comparison around the chain launch. The parity price is 0.03125 ETH/BTC for reference sake.

For 2021, what would you prefer to be holding: 1 Bitcoin or 32 Ether?

Voting / Anyone feel like they are now losing money if not holding crypto?

Bitcoin's price is now 2x from previous all time high at $40K+, Ethereum has doubled in price within recent weeks sitting only a couple of hundred dollars from it's previous all time high. Do you feel like money you have not invested in the crypto market is going to waste and losing you value?

Fortunately I only have very little cash spare, as has been the case since $10-20K, however it does now feel it's worth half the value. Can anyone else relate?

I'm otherwise around 98% invested in bitcoin & altcoins right now so don't feel like I'm missing out at least, even if expecting a correction at "some point".

Personally I'm only 21% in Altcoins at the moment, with a 11% holding in Ethereum. Quite low risk generally, but planning to increase this to 60-70% if Bitcoin dominance continues to fall. In summer I was nearer 70%, but took profits back into Bitcoin anticipating a correction.

I'm now on 25% altcoins which most of that in Ethereum right now that is paying of nicely. Thinking to increase to 30%+ if Bitcoin dominance can drop back below 60%. More Ethereum looks like a good idea to me right now, defi projects later once they've proven they'd stopped dropping in value.
