Good day guys. I am curious about solidity. I heared that it is very expensive to hire a solidity programmer. I wanna know if solidity has it's own studio to code, or we can program it in text editors like, sublime text, atom or etc.

US Patent and Trademark Office has published an application for a ‘Bitcoin Mining Hardware Accelerator with optimized message digest and Message scheduler datapath’. Intel had originally submitted the application in 2016.

It uses a method which supplements the current Bitcoin mining process, by consuming less power thereby spending less money in the process.

According to Intel:

“Because the software and hardware utilized in Bitcoin mining uses brute force to repeatedly….the process of Bitcoin mining can be very power-intensive and utilize large amounts of hardware space.”

Intel believes that a large amount of electricity is required to solve algorithms for digital currencies in the digital ecosystem. Few even call it as an ‘environmental disaster’.

Intel continues to say:

“The embodiments described herein optimize Bitcoin mining operations by reducing the space utilized and power consumed by Bitcoin mining hardware.”

Intel had previously designed chips for 21 inc, which later developed into the Bitcoin computing system. They said it will not confine itself to producing Applications -Specific Integrated Circuits, but will also develop processors and field programmable gate array platforms which can be integrated onto several mining systems.

 

ASIC, or application-specific integrated circuit, is an Integrated Circuit [IC] designed to process a specific application. Compared to programmable logic chips or standard ICs which is more versatile and can be used for a wide variety of different programs, an ASIC is specifically designed to do one thing. Hence the Bitcoin mining accelerator technology is expected to cut power usage by as much as 35% and can be added to ASICs, SoCs, CPUs, and FPGAs as well.

This news has also bought relief to gamers as they have been the one most affected by the increase in the price of graphics cards.

Bitcoin (BTC) prices dropped to a 50-day low of $6,630 earlier today, but a glimmer of good news for the bulls is that the cryptocurrency appears to be nearing a bottom.

To start with, BTC tends to reverse course every time the relative strength index (RSI) drops to or below 30.00, according to historical data (see chart below). As of writing, the relative strength index is close to that mark, at 32.00.

At press time, bitcoin is changing hands at $6,950 on Bitfinex, while the average price across leading exchanges, as represented by CoinDesk's Bitcoin Price Index is seen at $6,930.

Looking at historical chart, BTC repeatedly makes bull reversals after sub-30.00 drops on the RSI, so any price dips below $6,614 (daily low) should be short-lived.

The fact that BTC has recovered $6,614 to $7,200 only adds credence to the historical pattern.

Further, the cryptocurrency has defended the ascending trendline (drawn from the Jul. 16 low and Sep. 15 low), as seen on the chart below.

Linear scale chart: BTC defends trendline support


Chart experts tend to prefer logarithmic scale for volatile assets like bitcoin. However, BTC seems to be respecting the trendline support on the linear-scale daily chart, as suggested by the rebound from $6,614 to $7,200. According to log chart, the trend line support was breached in February.

It's also worth noting that the ascending (biased bullish) weekly 50-MA is lined up at $6,576, thus BTC may have a tough time breaching the strong support zone of $6,576-$6,600 at a time when the RSI is nearing a bull reversal zone.

Death Cross: A done deal?



Currently, the 50-day MA is located at $9,376 and the 200-day MA is seen at $9,347. So, the death cross (bearish crossover between the 50-day MA and 200-day MA), will likely happen in the next 24-48 hours. As discussed, the crossover is a lagging indicator and tends to come before a rise if the RSI shows oversold conditions.

So, it's likely the sell-off is likely to run out of steam in the range of $6,600-$6,000 (Feb. low).

However it's still too early to call a bull reversal, as the momentum studies are still bear biased, with the 5-day and 10-day MAs are trending south. Yesterday's close (as per UTC) below $7,240 (March 18 low) established a lower high and lower low pattern (bearish setup).

BTC will likely find a bottom in the range of $6,600-$6,000 over the weekend.
A daily close above $9,177 would open the doors for a test of a major resistance at $11,700.
Only a break above $11,700 would bring a significant bull run.
On the downside, acceptance below $6,000 (multiple daily closes below the said level) would signal a continuation of the sell-off.

Per an article today in by Omkar Godbole in Coindesk, Bitcoin may finally be reaching the bottom of its bear run.

To cryptocurrency enthusiasts, this might come as a welcome hypothesis—with Bitcoin hitting a 50-day low today at $6,630 USD—though Godbole indicates that it's probably going to get worse before it gets better, speculating that BTC will fall in the $6,600-$6,000 range over the weekend.
