I have experienced a bounty campaign that lasted a year and 3 months, unfortunately i thought this would have lead to coin/ token price pump but reverse was the case, a complete dump when coin/token was listed on the exchanges. In your opinion, what could have made the coin/token price dump after the IEO? Thanks

Cryptocurrency discussions / Understanding marketcap and meaning.
« on: October 08, 2019, 01:15:30 PM »
Sometimes people get it wrong in understanding the exact correlation between the market cap, supply, and price.
Now. some people think that marketcap in crypto is the amount of money invested in that particular coin.
For instance, if Coin A’s market cap is 1 million dollars, it is understood that it is the amount invested in it. Unfortunately, this is wrong.
For example, if bitcoin reached $220 billion in market cap, 220 billion dollars were invested in it?
This is not correct.
When market cap increases, the price of every coin increases and one needs to understand there is no new money coming in for the coins that are sitting in yours or anyone else’ pocket.
Let share, what can "marketcap" be from this idea? Everyone's contributions is needed for more lesson. Thanks

Guys, as a trader in crypto, i have been analysing the market to a certain point and i think that trading crypto increases the prices of coins than holding or investing.
Now, in which ever definition given to "investing" or "investment", whether in economics or finance definition, the bottom line is that investment is always concerns the outlay of some asset today (time, money, effort, etc.) in hopes of a greater payoff in the future than what was originally put in.
Trading involves more frequent transactions, such as the buying and selling of crypto. A continuous buying of coins at given time will increase prices while selling coins at given time may also reduce prices. Fortunately, traders seek to make profits within a specified period of time and often use a protective stop-loss order to automatically close out losing positions at a predetermined price level. In nutshare, the act of buying and selling crypto will always boost prices than holding. Share your thoughts.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Coins/token pairing advantages.
« on: September 28, 2019, 08:56:32 AM »
I come to reason within a certain time especially in this 2019 that coins/token pairing on just one asset like BTC has been hiddering the prices increase of several altcoins in the market. I think that a continuous  additional pairs to the existing ones will reduced the over influence from one asset pairing e.g bitcoin. What is your opinion?

Guys i have found this statement: " invest as much as you can afford to lose", often very unpleasant and discouraging on crypto ecosystems yet many writters, analyst, expats, entrepreneurs etc keep making thesame statement.
Now, in any business venture, i think there are profits and loses, and in as much as there are probabilities in business, i think profit/ loss is also applicable to every other businesses beside crypto. In a nutshell, i have concluded that this statememt should be modify in this manner: "invest as much as you are can lose or gain". Vise versa. This is just my opinion. What do you think?

Hello guys, i had thought that what we experienced in 2017( the all time bull run) and the 2018 worst crypto experienced( the all time bear run) could be traced to the curren altcoins bear market that has completely separated it from the Bitcoin prices movement.
Bitcoin so far has witnessed some certain percentage  of good market prices for the past 5 months, unfortunately altcoins generally has been loosing grip of it's prices, fluctuating downwards without recovery. Now, i have reasoned that this could be as a results of the fact that many altcoins investors are unwilling to inverst, like they did in 2017, and consequently the total prices collapsed in 2018. What do you think?

Cryptocurrency discussions / Gas fee for air drop distribution, legit ?
« on: September 17, 2019, 10:39:26 PM »
In my recent air drop participation, i discovered certain air drop campaign asking of gas fee to receive coins. I think this trend on the crypto ecosystem could be a scam, and it may be uncertain that these coins might not  be listed on any exchange at the long run. What do you think?

Guys, many of us in recent times have come across few project with deflation plans and certain percentages of transactions "burn" project ideas.

Now, the aim of this deflationary tokens is to create scarcity and make prices very high with the launch of very limited total supply. Some of these projects has total supply of coins/tokens renging from 2million$ to to $500000.
I have participated in very few of these projects, and in my personal opinion, i think that scarcity will only be driven by high prices if the demand is also very high, and consequently if there are very high numbers of people willing to trade or to invest in these projects. In this regard, the burning rates of this tokens on every certain percentage of the coins transactions, and with a few community members doing business with these projects will not make prices to rise. What do you think?

Cryptocurrency discussions / The best price predictions options.
« on: August 24, 2019, 09:16:34 PM »
We have these options in predicting crypto prices  namely, technical analysis, fundamental analysis and sentimental analysis.

The technical analysis is getting information or satistical trend through the past coin activities etc.

The fundamentals analysis is getting basic information about coin movements from the project management and relying on them to predict the coin prices.

The sentimental analysis is getting infomation from certain key players involved in the market e.g journalist, influencers and consumers involved.

I also think that there are other better price predictions analysis that could help to get certain degree of coin price accuracy. However, i have considered sentimental analysis as the best for traders and other participants. Which of these analysis stated above do you considered as best for coin predictions?

Cryptocurrency discussions / Importance of crypto Liquidity
« on: August 04, 2019, 06:03:21 PM »
Guys, i have come to the conclusion that increased liquidity would mean price stability, easier, cheaper transactions, and more investor confidence. It would also prevent Bitcoin whales, or large buys, from manipulating cryptocurrency prices. What are your thoughts?

Stable Coins Forum / Libra may be exposing the unknown.
« on: July 17, 2019, 10:41:42 PM »
There has been several news trending about Libra coins, and fortunately, this may be a positive gain to some projects.
A project launched some years ego was unknown on the crypto market, but the recent president Trump tweets changed its market structure. A lesser-known cryptocurrency took the opportunity to capitalize on the buzz. TrumpCoin (TRUMP), an altcoin all but unknown since it appeared in March 2016, was up 28% on it price. I think Libra has the tendency to enhance some projects development plans. What do you think?

Guys, i just thought of certain numbers of projects that could not meet up softcap, and based on this, many of these failed ICOs are considering lauching an IEO, at least to meet the softcap and kick start the project. On the contrary, i thought that some of them might as well fail to meet softcap. One of the reasons is that there could be poor promotion, and it may be that many investors has no confidence on these projects etc. Can all these IEOs succeed? What do you think?

89
Despite some of the shortcomings of ICOs, it has also piloted many to successful crypto projects, and then arrived the IEOs.
I must put it straight that IEOs has been wonderful in it's little time of existence. We have not experienced any serious setback or shortcomings at the moment and i hope it keep succeeding.

Now, in the future time, i also think there may be IDOs (initial dex offering) to boost investors and other participants confidence. What are your thoughts?

Just about six months ago that Bitcoin price was trading in the low $3,000s, where it set its bear market bottom and multi-year low, already the crypto asset is trading at over three times the value it was such a short time ago.
With such rapid growth, the first-ever cryptocurrency shows no signs of stopping, has avoided any significant corrections, and if such a growth rate keeps up, Bitcoin may never again trade below four digits. This is just my opinion. What are your thoughts?
