Yeah.. Using amazing technology to provide financial freedom globally in a simple yet powerful way is what makes Bitcoin so beautifully important. That's why I always pair it when using Bitget's smart portfolio, aiming to accumulate more from other coins' volatility.

Approximately 60% of my assets are in crypto. Imagine my bank telling me that my account can be deleted if I violate any rule. But I know there is no deletion for Crypto wallets.

Crypto gaming (GameFi) / Re: Why do you prefer p2e games?
« on: May 06, 2024, 01:48:59 PM »
I don't play P2E games for enjoyment. Instead, I participate in their testnets and early access to earn tokens before launch. For example, I'm currently playing Bubble Game's testnet to earn their tokens, not for the gameplay itself. My focus is on earning tokens early while projects are still developing.

It's generally safest to keep most tokens in a non-custodial wallet you control. However, verified exchanges like Bitget, Binaxe or OKX with proof of reserves exceeding customer assets can be suitable for storing huge amounts also if desired for convenience. Diversifying storage is a balanced approach.

Stable Coins Forum / Re: Should you invest in Stablecoins?
« on: May 04, 2024, 12:43:56 AM »
For me, I don't invest in stablecoins directly. I just pair volatile coins against stablecoins on Bitget's portfolio to secure gains.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Hold and trade which is best for you?
« on: May 04, 2024, 12:40:13 AM »
Holding for a long time or trading frequently can both make money, but you need to pick the right way for you. I prefer buying and keeping my main investments long-term. But I also use Bitget's smart portfolio sometimes to get more Bitcoin when meme coins go up a lot against Bitcoin's price. This way I can try to get some extra profits while still mostly holding long-term.

Bitcoin Cash Forum / Re: BCH or Ethereum, Which Is Better?
« on: May 04, 2024, 12:34:10 AM »
I prefer Ethereum over Bitcoin Cash due to its broader use cases and additional features, although BCH is also a robust cryptocurrency. My investment focus has been on ETH, which has yielded good profits for me so far. As for my BCH holdings, the returns haven't been as substantial. However, I've been able to accumulate more BCH by pairing it against ETH on Bitget's smart portfolio to benefit from Ethereum's stronger Performance. That's because I'm will to have the two in my portfolio.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Was the halving created much tension you?
« on: May 04, 2024, 12:22:10 AM »
The halving made people excited, but it's better not to get too carried away. Bitcoin is still doing well even after the halving. I am using Bitget's smart portfolio to get more Bitcoin when some altcoins go up in price against Bitcoin. I am buying more Bitcoin now at the current prices, before Bitcoin potentially goes up a lot again in the next bull run and reaches new high prices in 2025.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Is Bitcoin Too Expensive For Me?
« on: May 04, 2024, 12:17:11 AM »
I feel relatively expensive for my budget also, but i'm still driven to accumulate more over time. To achieve this, I've been DCA through Bitget's smart portfolio. Whenever I purchase altcoins that gain traction and get listed on reputable exchanges, I anticipate price pumps. So I strategically pair those altcoins against BTC in the smart portfolio, allowing me to effectively acquire more Bitcoin as those altcoins pump.

Bitcoin's direction remains uncertain, but I was fortunate to have paired some USDT with BTC on Bitget's smart portfolio, which allowed me to accumulate more BTC as it dropped. Now that BTC is pumping again, I've already increased my holdings and am hoping this upward momentum continues for further profits.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Has the bear market started?
« on: May 03, 2024, 11:50:13 PM »
I don't believe the bull market has fully commenced yet. While back-to-back bear markets are rare, I'm not ruling that possibility out. I think we have still to witness Bitcoin's full potential upside in this cycle. For my part, I used this recent market dip as an opportunity to dollar-cost average into my positions and set up Bitget's smart portfolio to automatically acquire more BTC as certain altcoins pump against it. My strategy is based on the expectation that Bitcoin's best performance is yet to come.

You make some fair points. Many traders do rotate between Bitcoin and altcoins. Personally, I prefer pairing altcoin trades with Bitcoin on Bitget's smart portfolio feature. It automatically reinvests any profits from altcoin trades into accumulating more Bitcoin for me

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Don't be in a Rush
« on: May 01, 2024, 06:50:46 PM »
You are ansolutely right. Trading requires patience, knowledge, and risk management - not a get-rich-quick mindset. Start with spot trading and build skills gradually. Leveraging is more risky and requires high level skills most time. I started leverage with Bitget copy trading which I still use at times.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Do professional traders lose money?
« on: May 01, 2024, 06:42:09 PM »
Both professionals and non-professionals can experience losses in trading. However, professionals typically exhibit better risk management and discipline, resulting in smaller losses compared to inexperienced traders. That's why I started my trading journey with a demo account, allowing me to practice without risking real capital. Later, I utilized Bitget's copy trading feature to follow and learn from experienced traders before trading on my own. Even now, I occasionally leverage copy trading to complement my own trading strategies

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Fear or greed
« on: May 01, 2024, 06:37:30 PM »
Excessive greed in the markets can be more dangerous than fear. Whenever I sense greed creeping in, I utilize Bitget's smart portfolio to pair some of my Bitcoin holdings with USDT. This allows me to take profits gradually until the next resistance level is reached. Then, I wait for a pullback to occur and use the smart portfolio to accumulate more Bitcoin at a lower price, buying the dip.
