Forum related / Re: Why i prefer Altcoinstalks more than Bitcointalk
« on: February 04, 2021, 12:10:30 PM »
@Raqeebzy rank is one of the main reasons, as you know here everyone is free to improve their rank following the forum rules, no problem whatsoever.

I registered not quite long on there and i was required to pay some small amount of BTC before being able to make posts.

Are you saying that they asked you for Bitcoin so you could write posts?. I've never seen that before, and if so, it seems like an insult to people who want to participate in the forum.
Yeah mate. I find everything so pleasing and easy here. I am hoping to stay more active and contribute positively to the forum.

I wouldn't make wrong accusations without proof. I have seen quite number of people also talked about the same. I am not really sure what that fee is for but I received a message my email is associated with creepy activity which I was surprised.

Hi. I am Raqeeb (nickname - Raqeebzy). I am new to the forum a few days ago though teleported from similar cryptocurrency forum (no other CT). I am a 4th student engineer in real life and I have been a crypto enthusiast for quite some years now (say 3-4 years approx.).
It is so good to be here and I hope I am welcomed.

Except for established members, BitcoinTalk forum isn't the best to be in and and gain up ranks. It is not just easy. It is shady how the administration on there is being run.
I registered not quite long on there and i was required to pay some small amount of BTC before being able to make posts. Newbies there hardly find there way up, so much corruption among the members.
Altcointalks to me is a worthy competitor.

Here, Binance has been the most preferred option not the best for crypto-fiat trades; Luno and Busha much more appreciated with 2% trading fee and almost free trading fee respectively. Though compared to binance, there is limited trading pairs (coins).

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Which trading bots are you using.

Which trading bots are you using - Let us hear your thoughts.
I have had little experience with trading bots and they were quite ungly. Think to find a good bot isn't an easy task. Some might just be phishing and some will produce bad result more than an inexperienced trader would manage.
I trade for myself, not sound with TA, more with fundamentals and I have been doing great.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: GREAT ART OF A TRADER

Highly comprehensive post.
Perhaps, if you had talked more about fundamental analysis part, it would have been a complete guide, I know quite number of traders who make do of fundamental analysis in trading and doing just right. Nonetheless, it is great topic.
Accept my appreciation for this (in Karma).  ;)

Forum related / Re: Next 1M posts target within 2021. Is it possible?
« on: February 02, 2021, 06:12:47 PM »
Congratulations to everyone of Altcoinstalks forum. We have achieved 1M posts milestone which has been achieved after 3 years (exactly 38 months) where Bitcointalk forum reached their 1st 1M posts after 2.7 years (32 months). Then there were only one Forum but now there are a lot of crypto forums. By competing with other forums, as a new forum, Altcoinstalks is still on right track. We can set our next 1M posts target within 2021 which is possible. Just we need 3k posts average on every day. As popularity of this forum is increasing rapidly, more and more new members are entering and they are contributing here, I think this target is possible and very much possible. Do you agree with me?
I agree. Though I just joined Altcointalks from no other CT, I have seen some impressive statistics and I am quite amazed. Approximately 10k new registration per month is quite huge and along it will definitely bring new excellent members around, creating quality topics and discussions which will move it forward. 1M posts target during this year is very much achievable but more importantly, I feel the number shouldn't be what should be the focus but quality all along.

Cardano Forum / Re: Holding and staking ADA
« on: February 02, 2021, 05:55:15 PM »
I want to ask you, if you are staking ADA (Cardano). Did you delegate your ADA to someone else's pool? Where do you hold your coins? (Daedalus, Yoroi, AdaLite) I am using AdaLite wallet and I am satisfied. How about you?
To be honest, I haven't experienced staking on any of these options, it is hard for me to say which is the most reliable.
However, I think staking Cardano is much better in either of Exodus or Atomic wallets (+5% APY). You could stake, earn and unstake at any moment.

Cardano Forum / Re: Cardan or LTC, Which One Is Best For Buying.
« on: February 02, 2021, 05:45:12 PM »
Recently, I would choose Cardano ADA. And I really think in the long term, Cardano will be a top coin more than LTC (which is just like a prototype of BTC). Cardano has its blockchain with pos consensus, arguably better than ETH.
Personally, if I had to invest in any of the two, I would choose Cardano; put it for staking on exodus wallet and let it grow while Cardano go bullish.

Binance / Re: Binance vsUniswap
« on: February 01, 2021, 09:41:24 PM »
For Uniswap, I still think that is an absolute impressive volume compared to the number one cryptocurrency trading platform, Binance.
Uniswap is one of the breakthrough innovation in cryptocurrency, the power of decentralisation though it is not perfect, it will do bigger numbers in the future competitive to Binance.

Personally, I don't see any setback accepting BTC if I were to own a business. Quite large amount of merchant feels the same, I am certain.
In large part of Africa, bitcoin is being accepted in as an alternative and even preferable mode of payment for purchases.
I feel sensitisation and about bitcoin and its relevance/advantages compared to conventional financial system needs to be made known.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Is The right time to buy BITCOIN ?
« on: February 01, 2021, 08:06:58 PM »
It depends on what approach you wish to take in making profits from it.
First of all I believe there is no late time to buy bitcoin. If you ever think you joined the party late like Elon Musk said  :), wait till 1/2 years (basically, numbers don't lie and we have seen some evidence how BTC has grown from the past).
If you wish to hold for long term, I don't think the current price should be much of a worried unlike in the case of short term traders; it is never advisable to buy at a high price.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Trade on the Exchange, not in a "wallet"
« on: January 31, 2021, 07:54:59 PM »
Personally I think it all depends on the medium of trade and the wallet application. I mean, I have been using Luno wallet application for many times than I can keep track of and it has been excellent so far so good. Though I agree wallets shouldn't be made like an exchange but it could be used in quick time once in a blue moon. Recently, I used trust wallet too for Dogecoin.

Uniswap / Re: What do you think about Uniswap trading fees?
« on: January 31, 2021, 07:41:10 PM »
Maybe we are getting it wrong. Uniswap doesn't charge enormous fee for trading on its platform. 0.3% trading fee (swap in any pair) is not new and not the worst to happen in exchanges and even it is paid for liquidity providers. I think the problem is on Ethereum network fee particularly; which isn't cheap and probably not for small investors.
