No doubt that there is no other cryptocurrency or altcoin that can supersede the bitcoin. At least not for the next 5-10 years. Of course there are many rising competitors like Ethereum, ripple and litecoin.

Yes, I agree. For now, I don't think an altcoin can easily replace bitcoin as the leading crypto with high market value. Though Ethereum has a great potential to.be the one, but probably it would take 5 to 10 years to wait, depending on how it is widely use.

When we talk about cryptocurrencies and having investments on it, the best known strategy is longterm hold because most of the coins have slow price movement. Only ETH and bitcoin are more stable nowadays.

The reason why people are here in this forum is to earn additional income for a living. But for me, to focus on altcoins alone is not good, as a reliable source to support the needs of my family. So it is better not to give up my carreer or job but rather to tackle both. It's just a matter of time management.

Yes of course, base on the current market situation, it is more preferrable to buy more coins and hold. But we should think or choose coins with a stable value or has always value even crypto is on downtrend. Its good to have variety of crypto coins than to focus only one, to have more options when trading time comes.

Basing on the price movement in cryptomarket nowadays, we don't know how long would it take the market to stay on green because prices are unpredictable. But everyone will be happy if all crypto currencies will continuously grow or remain on green.

A downtrend of price does not mean bitcoin is dead. Like any crypto coins, bitcoin market price is going down due to its volatility aspect. Its unpredictable price movement is greatly affected either by low demands or limited supply.
