Litecoin Forum / Re: Why should I invest in Litecoin?
« on: July 15, 2018, 04:53:12 PM »
Although LTC seems to bring a certain measure of value by trying to replace traditional money transfer systems that charge exorbitant fees and take a lot of time to process transactions, it is yet to take root in the financial and monetary industry. If you decide to invest in LTC, use reserve money that you’d be willing to lose. This is not to say that you must lose, but as it is with digital currencies, you can either lose your entire investment or get rich very quickly.

Like all other cryptocurrencies, LTC is extremely volatile. Its price changes rapidly with the trends in the digital currency industry.

Never leave your coins in the exchanges as they are prone to getting hacked. Transfer your coins to a LTC Wallet.

I don't think it can replace BTC. BTC is still the leading crypto. Maybe it can change in the future.

Cryptocurrencies are already a success gobally. I believe it is the right time to invest in cryptocurrency. With the increase in popularity and demand, so many people are investing in cryptocurrency.

Obviously, there is risk involved so does in many other investments but the payouts are high.

It is up to you whether you want to take that risk or not.

Dash Forum / Re: Can Dash overcome ETH?
« on: July 15, 2018, 12:59:43 PM »
Ethereum is a decentralized platform that allows other applications to be developed and managed on its network. It uses ether as the gas to fuel these applications. It also utilizes smart contracts. Dash on the other hand is a digital currency that seeks to change the manner in which people carry out transactions online and offline.

The Ethereum network uses ether as its token but is still not able to effectively deal with the privacy and scalability issues.  Dash coin, through its private send feature, was able to effectively solve the privacy issue. It also has a InstantSend feature that deals with te scalability issues by clearing or processing transactions in an instant.
It is a matter of time.

Dash Forum / Re: A little about Dash
« on: July 15, 2018, 12:52:15 PM »
Dash has developed a decentralized system to govern and fund the future development of the project. Anybody can come up with a project to help develop the Dash ecosystem and submit it to the network. The proposal will then be voted on by Masternode owners and if approved by at least 10% of the network’s Masternodes, the proposal will be considered approved.

In the meantime, every time a miner solves a block, 45% of the block reward goes to the miner and 45% goes to support the second tier of the network. Ten percent of the block reward is not created at that time--it is withheld by the Dash network. Once a month the DASH that was withheld is created by “superblocks.” These blocks, one per approved proposal, create the DASH needed to pay the proposals.

Dash Forum / Re: Can dash make to the top?
« on: July 15, 2018, 12:49:43 PM »
I strongly believe that because Dash takes things a step further by utilizing a two-tier network. The first tier works in the same way as Bitcoin: miners find blocks and post transactions to the blockchain. The second tier, comprised of special servers called Masternodes, enables additional features such as instant transactions, private transactions, and decentralized governance and budgeting.

It features instant transactions, private transactions and a self-funded, self-governed organizational structure. Dash is a fork of the Bitcoin software and is referred to as an altcoin.

Dash Forum / Re: Disadvantage of dash
« on: July 15, 2018, 12:40:28 PM »
the masternodes introduce a significant element of centralization to Dash, weakening its ability resist censorship.

Finally, Dash has a large marketing budget and is structured to spend resources on marketing, not on innovation. This is not a long term recipe for success.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Why does the price of Bitcoin keep changing?
« on: July 15, 2018, 04:31:17 AM »
Bitcoin is not backed by anything and has no intrinsic value.  There are no macroeconomic fundamentals behind it like there are with the fiat currencies of sovereign nations, such as  trade balances, interest rates, or gross domestic product. That means that the price of Bitcoin is determined by little more than supply and demand…and maybe a little hype.

Litecoin Forum / Re: Litecoin vs Other crypto?
« on: July 15, 2018, 04:26:10 AM »
Litecoin, Bitcoin’s younger brother and one of the first true ‘Altcoins,’ doesn’t offer exciting technological developments over the Bitcoin protocol but is likely to be a permanent fixture in the crypto ecosystem for many years to come.”
