They already mentioned something, but unless it is an emergency, download Tor, which is available for Android or Apple (OrNET + TOR VPN):https://apps.apple.com/es/app/tor-browser-ornet-tor-vpn/id1177964608

Although, in my case, I would hope to be able to do it on my laptop/desktop.

Let's go by "parts" or millions...

These are data that can only be estimated, they are not precise and to have an idea, Binance has 150 million users.

That is one of the figures to which we could be capitulating an idea, and outside that range it is speculative.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: ETF Approval, do we have reason to celebrate?
« on: January 26, 2024, 05:05:16 AM »
Well, it is a bipolar feeling, many people do not understand what an ETF is, and understanding it at first can cause stupor, we are already experiencing it with the "disappointment" of the price, when what is happening due to the so-called entries and exits of stocks is something normal.

Now, it that in a way is sad, because the market becomes dependent on "certain protagonists", not only is it an inconvenience for the average bitcoiner, it is for everyone.

It is true that "X BTC" determines your ability to celebrate when the price rises, come on, that has been the case for a couple of years now, those who cannot accumulate bitcoin but fractions of Satoshi, it is simple, they have to adapt to the happiness mode that your bitcoin wallet allows, that is not the fault of the current market or the protagonists that stand out in these times.

Well, these panics cannot be measured "in people", that is, the correct thing is to mention the market panicked, you cannot quantify how many people do it.

So if you simply look at the market volume, it may have been a movement of one or two whales, meaning it is something that is not necessarily a disaster, which is in reality what we are interested in knowing.

Simply an individual can sell for so many circumstances, e.g. people's is simply taking advantage of the market movement and buys or sells according to his interest, in fact he does both.

I think in a way the panic of selling is the madness of others to buy, it's just that.  :)

Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: Hold vs trading what is better?

+1
What you mention is true, but in the long run it is not about which is better, rather which works for you, trading is not easy for everyone, it requires time and talent, and hodl may be boring for many, or they may not have so much patience.

And there will be those who live between those two "passionate" positions.

« on: January 26, 2024, 02:15:35 AM »
Edito:

« on: January 26, 2024, 02:02:11 AM »

Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling effect of you life!
« on: January 24, 2024, 06:03:16 AM »
I think that the sordid topic is little treated in the frequency of the comparison for the personal effect, which then underlies the (1)family aspect, (2)work and (3)money, since the topics always derive according to who exposes them in any of them:1,2,3.

Casino games have been established, it is accepted in many parts of the world, so that very fact of having to hide or go to play in seedy places, both in person and online, has changed, and that in essence has greatly improved the lives of the gamblers.

That is to say, there are positive aspects, always. Not everyone is affected, and you cannot treat it as if there is no other choice, it is not an assertive phrase, it is not 100%.Topic: Subject.

I have played poker at different stages of my life, as a student, unmarriedand then as a person responsible for having a family and poker has never affected my life.

The best advice if you are going through any of those stages that you mention, is to stop playing, completely. And once you can do it, decide what your priorities are, if making a bet is something that benefits you in some way, just do it, and the benefit does not have to be monetary, it can be leisure, fun or simply login.

Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not for Everyone

It is something cultural and common sense, how someone can believe that taking money from the rent will pay their debts by gambling.

If they tell you, let's run 100 meters, whoever arrives first wins, you do it,(!?), you probably look at the person and compare it with your physical level, and you can understand that you could win, but perhaps the weight and their poor physical condition is not an indication that you can beat him, but if the person has a tendency to risk, he/she takes the bet.

It is not about blaming the bets, it is the individuals, their education and of course other symptomatic things, please! betting should be an experience like going to the movies, or running those 100 meters and not dying trying. :)

Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be taken as a profession?
« on: January 24, 2024, 05:19:09 AM »
Gambling has started to gain a lot of popularity among people nowadays. Nowadays gambling has become so accessible that anyone can gamble online. Now it is so convenient that if you want identity at home, you can gamble secretly. Is it possible to make a permanent income through gambling? What is your opinion?

There is no coherence between your topic title and the OP's context, they are two totally different things.

That makes me think you are confused with the idea of income and being a betting professional.

The income is available to everyone, but paying the bills as being a professional player is a totally different fact and that ultimately qualifies as a high-risk profession, like going crab fishing (Alaska), which they say is one of the riskiest professions, but better paid ( up to USD 100,000 for five days of work).

Being a gambling player is a profession classified as one of the most risky.

On the other hand, I don't know in what "cave" you have been, the popularity of online casinos has been there, ever since even the last century and reached levels of popularity that have not been repeated since the first decade. (XXI)

Now, with the pandemic there was an increase, but that does not indicate that it is new.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin is dumping after ETF approval?
« on: January 24, 2024, 05:03:52 AM »
it's bad condition, after ETF approved bitcoin price dropped.
Hopefully it's just whales manipulation and bitcoin price will go up again more 50K to face bitcoin having April this year.
We realize, crypto market is always volatile and unpredictable.
But I think we still have opportunity to buy more bitcoin and altcoin at this time

In reality, if there was an expectation for the price to rise and it happened, right? now what happens is that there are only exits and they are reflected in GBTC as the main "benefactor", for now the entries are few for the ETFs.
