Waves Forum / Re: Waves VS. Ethereum
« on: May 28, 2018, 11:09:58 PM »
I think ethereum is more professional than waves, as waves is a platform where anyone can make a token so it's full of scam ico tokens.

Waves Forum / Re: What do you do with "false" coins?
« on: May 28, 2018, 11:03:08 PM »
False coins probably refers to all the shitcoins that gets airdropped if you own a waves wallet with some coins in it. I just leave them there

I'm glad that there are at least 3 exchanges vying for the top spot. If it's just binance then they would have the monopoly and become too big to fail. Any problem with binance would result in a serious crash in the market so having 3 improves safety and stability.

No idea why women love ripple, it is the most hated currency in the whole of the market. Just a bankers centralised coin that we're trying to get away from. That is why crypto exists - to get away from their control

I think cashback is going to be more popular now because there are more exchanges appearing and they are all fighting for traders. Especially the newer smallish ones that don't have a big brand like binance

I think fake is a harsh word as some are not intended to be fake, they just haven't succeeded as it is a tough market now. increasing saturation means there isn't much hope for new projects without big backers

The crime rate in south africa is one of the highest in the world. I wonder if carrying bitcoin around is safer than cash, the wallet itself is worth money (mobile / trezor), but they need to get the private key as well to access the contents.

We can expect to see more and more of these venture capitalists coming into crypto. It is the new gold rush and these guys are late to the party. The early bird catches the worm so they need to start quickly or be left behind

John McAfee is always bullish, and he is paid over $100,000 per tweet, some say it is half a million! It is therefore in his best interests to keep the momentum going, but i actually hope he is right in this case

Waves Forum / Re: waves vs monera
« on: May 21, 2018, 07:38:48 PM »
Both are popular so i have to disagree on that point. It's not at the top like ethereum but both are well known. I prefer WAVES because it has a useful platform and is quite cheap compared with monero

Waves Forum / Re: Waves Wallet

I like to use the chrome app wallet which has a DEX for trading with. The wallet is quite advanced because it can even do purchases with card payments, although i don't recommend it because the fees are really high

Dogecoin Forum / Re: Prediction as to the future fo Dogecoin.
« on: May 21, 2018, 07:31:07 PM »
The prediction is that it won't move for a long time. Except for day traders doing the usual slight increase and decrease on a weekly basis but the long term trend is going to be flat. Good thing is that it is unlikely to crash, but don't expect a big profit either.

Dogecoin Forum / Re: Is Dogecoin a good investment?
« on: May 21, 2018, 07:20:41 PM »
Dogecoin is good to purchase and trade with because it is widely accepted by the exchanges, but the value doesn't change much so as a long term investment it is not good. However, for casual and practise trading yes doge is a good investment

Useful to know for people that are new to the platform. Would have been easier if everything was just based around steem rather than create these dollars and powers to complicate things.

Steem - Steemit Forum / Re: Does Steemit have a future ?
« on: May 20, 2018, 12:14:46 AM »
It's better than producing a blog that offers no reward. I guess people will move away from blogger type websites and use steem as they can actually make something out of it
