Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Bullrun 2020 vs bullrun 2017
« on: December 04, 2020, 06:59:57 PM »
The bull run of 2017 can't be compared to that of 2020. I strongly doubt that we will be seeing the sustained success of the cryptocurrency industry in terms uniform price appreciation like we saw back in 2017. There was literally money pumping into the industry and everything was bullish. However, in 2020, people have been cautious about investing into unknown projects and the bullish trend hasn't been uniform or affected most altcoins.

The current bullish trend in the market has all the attributes of a shortlived bullish trend and as such traders need to be highly careful as to how they trade on this current market. Going fully in without some level of care could be disastrous. You need to position yourself properly and take as much profits as you possibly can and exit the market sooner rather than later. Once it comes crashing, it will be massive.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: The Dark side of Cryptocurrency
« on: December 03, 2020, 09:59:13 PM »
There have been several calls from different sectors calling for the abolishment and disbandment of blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies owing to the dark side or negative effects of blockchain. Several people have alleged that it could be use as a way of laundering money and others have said it could be a source for terrorism funding. Above all, the advantages of blockchain technology outweighs its disadvantages.

I strongly believe BNB is undervalued and will soar with time. The pool offered by bounty detective for the BNB bounty is small and would have no effect on the price of BNB. Also, BNB has more than enough volume and presently being traded on several huge exchanges which will mean the bounty pool will likely be swallowed with no effects on the price. BNB already has a huge popularity and remains an asset worthy of long term investment.

Most new people in the space believe bitcoin and cryptocurrency generally is easy and a sure fire way to make money. Some get burnt in the process and then turn around to call the crypto space scam. All investments need some sort of knowledge and should strictly be treated as investments. Learn before you part away with your funds towards investment. That's the only way you win...

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Traiding bots
« on: December 02, 2020, 08:40:57 PM »
There are actually some pretty good trading bots and artificial intelligence tools out there in the industry. However, identifying the genuine and successful ones is a challenge and has meant people have constantly lost money to the fakes in the industry. Several people have lost money to frauds  in the industry and one must be careful to filter the reals from the fakes.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: How Much Money Do You Make From Trading?
« on: December 02, 2020, 07:12:02 PM »
Making of money from cryptocurrency trading often times requires good capital and a considerable level of expertise. With a smaller trading bank, there is always a huge chance of blowing your portfolio on any wrong trade but with a relatively bigger bank, you can take more risks and even get to enjoy more profits in the process. As a Conservative trader, i set out to make 2 to 5% of my bankroll daily.

You should always consider the solidity of a project by its technology, team activeness, developments as well as partnerships. If all of these check out fine, there is a huge possibility of long term growth and value appreciation. If these project token has a low market cap with lots of interest from investors then it is a good buy. Investments into these kinds of projects always have a good chance of making long term gains and deserve investing in.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Crypto trading is better than holding a coin.
« on: December 01, 2020, 09:11:10 PM »
Well, this depends greatly on your expertise and level of experience. Holding a coin can often times be the simplest way to safeguard your assets and effectively manage your risks. Trading when you aren't sure or certain of the market situation exposes you to possibilities of blowing your portfolio. You must be reasonably good at trading before venturing into it. Only then can you confidently say trading is better than holding.

Voting / Re: LINK or ADA
« on: December 01, 2020, 07:45:11 PM »
LINK has enjoyed some massive pull in the last couple of months for the right reasons. It usability and importance has grown and so also its value. I have not doubt about its growth as more people begin to adopt and use its solutions and technology. It has already shown great strengths. I will pick LINK over ADA at this point in time simply because it has more potentials.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Which Altcoin Will PayPal Embrace?
« on: November 30, 2020, 10:43:12 PM »
I think there is a strong possibility of XRP being adopted by not just PayPal but several corporate organisations. There has been a lot of people actually predicting this and moves are already being made. However, I still strongly think BTC will be one cryptocurrency that will always find appeal and adoptions due to its status, acceptance and huge trade volumes and liquidity.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: What is Your first invested Coin?
« on: November 30, 2020, 08:30:15 PM »
My first ever cryptocurrency investment was BNB. Made some good profits from it but sold way too early. I sold all my holdings at 15usd but still regret I didn't leave a few for when BNB did its all time high. Ever since then, I have made some other good and profitable investments and some not so good ones.

Cryptocurrency Trading / Re: Trade on the Exchange, not in a "wallet"
« on: November 30, 2020, 07:39:25 PM »
Well, it depends on the kind of wallet you are using. A non custodial private wallet where you control the keys and phrase is one of the safest ways to trade and hold digital assets. Exchanges on the other hand are some of the most risky places to trade. Several exchanges have gone under due to hacks, you should be careful with saving your assets on the exchange.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: COVID-19 Increased Bitcoin Adoption
« on: November 27, 2020, 09:20:43 PM »
It certainly gave more people the opportunity to get involved with cryptocurrencies especially bitcoin as they explored more ways of earning income from home. The idea of making additional income from home became appealing for most people leading to the exploration of cryptocurrency trading and investments as an option. In a way, I will agree that Covid 19 contributed to the adoption and interest in cryptocurrency.

One should always confide in at least a loved one with their private keys and details in cases of eventualities and unfortunate events. These things happen and then if provisions weren't made to forestall the effects theat come thereafter, assets are lost forever. You can share your details with a love one, friend or family member to ensure situations like this never happen.
