Bitcoin Forum / Bitcoin and all the altkoins are the first pancake lump
« on: January 20, 2018, 03:26:04 PM »
Bitcoin and all the altkoins are the first pancake lump. But it needs to be remade correctly. You can skip this message. But almost all coins will collapse. The arrival of new coins is not far off. Coins will start appearing at the beginning of the year.

Bitcoin Forum / Are you OK with Bitcoin being called a token?
« on: January 20, 2018, 03:24:42 PM »
Why is this an issue?
Bitcoin is the proud leader, "tokens" are for the ETH Bubble Game. Calling Bitcoin a token is not even technically correct. That does matter to some people.

``````````````
OP
Popular use of the word "token", in this community, is/was related to "ETH ICO bubble things", not the creation of Satoshi known as Bitcoin.
BTC = Bit COIN not Bit Token
"...bitcoin closed Tuesday at $4,009 per token — twice its price in July..."
https://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/news/2017/09/21/bitcoin-buyers-libertarian-bent-drive-prices-records/594971001/
The above is only one of way too many recent examples in the media.
Are you OK with Bitcoin being called a token?
Do you need to be sent to crypto re-education camp?  Cheesy
Bitcoin bull: Bitcoin could easily top $50K in 2018   Bitcoin bull: Bitcoin could easily top $50K in 2018
11 Hours Ago | 06:15
One of bitcoin's biggest bulls sees a $50,000 future for bitcoin in 2018.
Spencer Bogart, a partner at Blockchain Capital, thinks the controversial cryptocurrency will continue to perform, as long as both retail and institutional investors get involved and stay there.
On the institutional side, there is only room to move up, according to Bogart. And surveys show growing interest in bitcoin ownership from retail investors, especially young ones.
"Institutional ownership is still effectively zero percent. There's a lot of room for upward movement here," Bogart said on CNBC's "Fast Money." "The drawbridges for institutional pools of capital have just been lowered."
Bogart admits bitcoin is still new, calling it a "bit of an exotic product for institutional investors," but he is confident the popularity will eventually trickle down to these investors, even if they sit out a couple of rounds to focus on derivatives.
"If institutional players want to play in this market, they'll dip their toe in the water or wait on the sidelines to see if the products themselves function," Bogart said. "This is a first round of product set that's going to evolve and mature and eventually become a deep market."
But much of Bogart's confidence comes from bitcoin's popularity among young adults. He referenced a Harris Poll for Blockchain Capital that found 19 percent of Americans and 32 percent of millennial Americans said they would invest in bitcoin in 5 years.
"When I think about what are likely good indicators of future technology trends, I pick younger demographics over older demographics every time," he said.
In the blockchain versus bitcoin debate, Bogart said it will still be important to focus on bitcoin in the coming year. But the verdict is out on the long-term value, so he'll keep investing in both, he said.
"There's certainly a thesis that suggests that a lot of the value accrues to the underlying protocols like bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin," he said. "But I think that there is a lot of value accruing to the businesses built on top of these networks. The Ripples of the world, the Coinbases of the world, are worth a significant amount of capital right now."
Bitcoin Forum / Cryptocurrency profits and tax in the UK?
« on: January 20, 2018, 02:53:18 PM »
I decided to get to the bottom of how much tax you have to pay for selling crypto currencies if you live in the UK...
You don't have to pay tax when you buy
You don't have to pay tax on it if it increases in value and you just hold it in crypto
You don't have to pay tax when you trade one cryptocurrency for another
You have to pay tax on the "profit" made when you sell it back to GBP
The tax bracket this comes under is capital gains tax (CGT), it's not the same rates as property though
In one financial year the first £11,300 profit in capital gains on cryptocurrency is tax free
The next £8,500 comes in the 10% tax bracket, anything over that is taxed at 20%
So you could in theory sell £19,800 with of Bitcoin every year and only pay £850 in CGT
What I really want to know and can't find the answer to online is...
What are the tax implications if you buy a car direct with Bitcoin? You are not technically making profit on the sale of an asset, you are swapping an asset with the value of x for a different asset with the value of x
Bitcoin Forum / Why Bitcoin is down in price?
« on: January 19, 2018, 05:14:48 PM »
For my point of view, I think the factor of bitcoin down in price is because of mafia playing bitcoin. In this case, they sell all bitcoin they received from Bitcoin Scam Sites they made last year. Besides, the low price of XPY is also the reason why bitcoin become down in price. There are so many HYIP sites posing as bitcoin investment which lead to scam, and this is the right time for the scammer to sell their bitcoin they got their scams.
So, the points above is that the factor causes bitcoin down in price is because scam coins that promoted scammers coins in order to grab a huge profit without responsibility. In this way, by not interested in taking part in Internet Bitcoin Investment Business is better if we want to collect bitcoin through faucet at the moment. Also, the financiers which have been collected could be used as the capital trading, you can see a number of trading sites for bitcoin trading.
« on: January 19, 2018, 05:12:25 PM »
Bitcoin is designed to allow its users to send and receive payments with an acceptable level of privacy as well as any other form of money. However, Bitcoin is not anonymous and cannot offer the same level of privacy as cash.
Bitcoin Forum / Comparison Match Round #1 Bitcoins Vs Tronix
« on: January 19, 2018, 05:08:11 PM »
ron = TRX which is lead by Justin Sun,  Protege of Jack Ma from Alibaba.
VS
Bitcoins created by Satoshi whoever he is. thanks to him, we have the birth of crypto and the blockchain.
I want to point out why i converted my TRX when it was 3 cents  and though it has a market cap of 100 million.  vs bitcoins 21 million.
Trx is gonna break free from bitcoin and ETH as its own coin.  Two its gonna be burned out in time.   Three you and i can can partner our coin with Trx something you cant do with most coins now.
Justin Sun is a very active and hard working dev and he did go to jack Ma University.
This will be the next bitcoin?  Yes, now they are more things that I can point out but do your research
