1 - Real world usage of the project/idea/app whatever they are backing their token/coin/DA on. Firstly and foremost if the thought of using this project gives me a "i'd buy that product vibe" then great - if I barely give it a cursory "meh" then I don't bother with 2 and 3.
2 - Is the project "likely" to get off the ground... no use in dreaming up an awesome concept if the concept itself is only able to be solved by Elon Musk and his devs. And he's busy enough...
3 - Project team (not just devs - everyone... founder, devs, and media team) - how do they come across on social media. Are they all on the same page with the project. Are they all professional at all times, is their even a real team of ppl.

I know this could have been summarised in three words - use, concept, team - but i didn't think it conveyed everything I want to say :)

Has anyone been confirmed to start mining yet with these guys? I'm still waiting for it to activate after signing up only a couple of weeks ago.

I've always wanted to start a convo with "I'm not one to gossip"... turns out with social media its not necessary... its not gossip when the dev team decides to air all its issues for the world to see.

https://twitter.com/Lindaproject/status/966929397499514880 - Linda Dev Founder sacking his entire team

https://twitter.com/Lindaproject/status/966930571816554496 - Dev teams response is to bite back and say nope! its the founder getting the axe
Discord https://discord.gg/SeyJccp - If you have some popcorn and a drink - then head here to check out what really happened.

And right now... CMC has Linda at 12 satoshis - oh dear...

Good news - there may be a Linda fork incoming :)

Reputation, Scams & Phishing / Re: Viuly - Scam ? Investigation.
« on: February 23, 2018, 12:07:38 PM »
VIULY is a direct ripoff from the VIEWLY project. VIULY just managed to get their rip-off out to market before the original project and of course had the airdroppers/bounty hunters out in force shilling. The copycats were quick of the mark tho... but still - here's some links that VIULY is nothing more than a copycat :(

Hopefully the real VIEWLY will be ready soon :)

Man I only got 97 tokens and they charge a 50 token withdrawal fee. BS

Same - I think a lot of the REBL fans - felt a little (alot) annoyed that L3 verification wasn't specified before going in and setting up an account at yet another rando exchange. The last time I bothered to login to see what the go was with trying to withdraw that 97REBL, - I'm sure it said something like 1000 minimum withdrawal, or 100 minimum to make a sell...

It seemed a bit ridic tho :(

CFUN is on the Lomostar app too and is listed on CMC - they are also Beta Testing a new trading feature I think. Or they may have released it already :)

Thanks for posting about Gridcoin :)

There's a lot to it for new people though and honestly and while its a cool concept its execution leaves a lot to be desired.

BOINC research - well it is easy to set up and run and then most likely you need to register for the pool otherwise you won't get far unless you have amazing mining rigs - but the wallet. Well its utterly awful.
I keep mine open for staking, of which nothing ever goes through because I usually end up forking away from the main chain after a few hours and then the nice little fork I'm on - well that doesn't pay stake rewards... Of course - you then rebuild the chain to try and fix... that doesn't work but it takes so long you wonder off only to come back hours later to find its still not fixed. So yeh, if like me - you get a completely useless wallet situation happening - POS is a no-go lol.

Still - even with all that wallet drama - i can't seem to stop BOINC'g and that all goes thru fine. Look for aliens with SETI, Crunch some PrimeNumbers or map the MilkyWay - its my tiny little contribution to science :)

I still have mine from the airdrop - but since the token burn - there really hasn't been much coming from them lately - I see they are going to rebrand - ah well guess I'll hold it - it was free so if it drops too nothing - nothing lost I spose.

Waves Forum / Re: Waves faucet and surprise tokens?
« on: February 23, 2018, 11:00:25 AM »
Waves has gotten so popular of late the faucets have all pretty much dried up so not a lot of surprises on offer now through them. They are moving to offering the surprises to through Waves HODLing via the Leasing and POS4all.

I was an avid claimer of all the WavesDrops/WavesGo/WavesDesk and TurtleNode faucets I could get my little hands on. But with POS4all and LPOS, saves me heaps of time and I still get free waves tokens daily.

Waves Forum / Re: Waves platform users friendly or not
« on: February 23, 2018, 10:53:01 AM »
The Waves Platform is at first glance - literally awful. But once you put the DEX into context and realise its actually giving you the same data as any other DEX in a slighty different appearance its not a problem.

The Waves Beta version is better again and more user friendly imo - but every now and then I jump back to Waves Platform (lite) version because the Beta app fails to refresh properly and just sits there stuck in the trading screen.

No, but it makes you meet new people in smoking areas. ;D

Haha - that it does - or just have awkward stare-offs with some randoms...

Definitely not a morning person. I can't function properly until it gets dark :) Plus the interwebs works better at night ;)

Waves Forum / Re: Do you like waves???
« on: February 23, 2018, 02:43:34 AM »
Waves are great - near instant transactions, leasing nodes (LPOS), and POS4all, easy token creation and a low fees that are set. There are multiple faucets available as well - and good communities built around the platform.

Drawbacks:
Like ETH - the easy token creation makes sham/scam creation easy target for people to get conned - so make sure you're only buying verified tokens or Bitcoin on it - as some people have been fooled thinking they were buying Ripple or BitcoinGold tokens or even USD.
