They have been in trouble recently.  Had to stop coordinator due to a bug and transactions have been stuck for two days. From my point of view it's unfinished software.

I think the real value of EOS will show up next summer when the new blockchain gets deployed. Current ERC20 token is only meant to be swapped 1:1 for native EOS tokens. In the end they plan to release a completely new blockchain with cutting functionality such as smart contacts. When we have some news about development on going I'm sure the value will skyrocket.

It's probably "better" from some aspects but unfortunately being better does not guarantee the widest distribution.  Look at Beta vs VHS war a couple decades ago.

By making such comparisons I just noticed I'm getting older LOL.

I held some on Cryptsy but lost all after shutdown.

Now I bought 15 LTC a couple of months ago and I'm in profit so I'm happy after all.

Despite being an ancient coin development is still is going and there's a good market sentiment. Will hold for long.

According to the article, it's Trezor the one which is potentially vulnerable (at least when tried to be physically hacked)  but ledger is far more secure.

For some reason it has been slowly declining for the last few months.  It's failing to gain traction.  However, I'm a long term investor so I'm hodling despite the bearish market.  I have some hope in the end they can take advantage of some features such as smart contacts which they are just ignoring.

Hello there.  Although the launch date is just a couple of days away the btcgpu development is going forward.  As seen on the last development update some code improvements have been made on the last days, to number some:

  • Replay attack protection merged
  • Address format changed (starts with G and A)
  • Deploy testnet
