Waves Forum / Re: What do you do with "false" coins?
« on: January 05, 2018, 09:45:41 PM »
Hi, guys! What do you do with "false" coins? Are there any ways of utilization? ;-)

Honestly, I don't know what you meant by false coin, I don't mind little explanation here.

Coins that are not listed on WavesDex, such as CNFR or GFW Token.

It is very complicated to me, I have one other coin in Waveswallet but do not know how to transfer it in waves coin.
It's not that hard:
After opening www.waveswallet.io, you see in the centre 7 icons.
Click on the third from the left: "The Waves decentralized exchange". You will then enter a new tab.
On the right site you see some traiding pairs. Click for instance on MRT/WAVES
In the graph on the left you can now see the price trend of MRT against Waves.
On the right below the graph you see "Sell Miner Reward" and directly behind this the amount of MRT you have got.
Clicking on the quantity puts this MRT number in the "Miner Reward amount" box below and the last price for which MRT was purchased in the other "the price in Waves" box.
If you agree with the price, then click on "Sell" and your order will appear under "My orders" below. If you do not agree with the price, then change the price.

The number of tradeble pairs in the boxes to the right is limited. Most coins are not listed.
If you have an other coin that you want to exchange for Waves, then change above the graph on the left side in the "Miner reward" box for your coin (wait a few seconds, this takes a while. For example, if you want to trade WavesGo, then unfolds as soon as you start typing already a list of choices, which you can choose from).
After this, the procedure is exactly the same again.

NEO Forum / Re: How is NEO different from ethereum?
« on: December 22, 2017, 02:28:24 PM »
NEO is non-divisible. I'm not sure what the point is of that. But I can't send you .5 NEO.
NEO platform involves 2 different tokens. NEO and GAS.
The NEO token is actually a share in the NEO platform and gives you the right to vote. It can not be divided. In addition to voting rights, NEO holders receive dividends in the form of GAS. In contrast to NEO, GAS can be divided.
Addition of 1 block to the blockchain produces 8 GAS.
The production speed decreases with 1 GAS after every 2 million blocks generated. In about 2039 there will be 100 million GAS and production will stop.
In addition users pay in GAS to execute smart contracts and this fee is then divided among bookkeepers as a reward.

Am I doing someething wrong?
53 ETN paid 24 hours ago by my pool, but nothing appears in my wallet !!

Good day brother, how are mining this coin? Can you share your idea and experiences

A good explanation can be found here: https://easyhash.io/start/electroneum
or: https://downloads.electroneum.com/

At the moment I am mining at 2 pools:
https://etn.fairpool.xyz
A small pool. The number of miners is not large, so there is not so often a block found. Once it is found, you do not have to share the revenue with so many others.
The other pool is: http://www.electroneum.space/
A large pool, blocks are quickly found, but the yield is also decreased by many people.

Any info how big the reward for leasing is?
http://wavesgo.com/mining
http://wavesgo.com/stats
You learn more

Can you please explain how the mining works

It is not so much mining as to make your waves available to a node. A node is a pool of participants, all of whom have made their waves available. There must be at least 10,000 Waves in the pool before it can function as a full node. You can stop it at any time and you can never lose your waves. As a reward for leasing your Waves, you will receive Miner Rewards. You can see it more or less as interest on your Waves. The interest rate is approximately 5% on an annual basis.
Good information about this can be found at: https://wavesplatform.com/leasing

At which Waves pool do you lease your Waves?
How to lease was not the question.
Which pool and why.
WavesGo is by far the biggest, you get 100% of the tokens, but only 50% MRT. On the other hand you get WavesGo.
At WavesNode.net you get 100% tokens and 85% MRT.
Wavesfullnode.com is a lot smaller, but 100% tokens and 100% MRT.
And so there are a lot more.
Which do you think is the best?

Crypto Exchanges / Re: What is the best exchange for cryptos?

Bitfinex and Bittrex are different trading platform?
Yes.
On Bitfinex you can exchange, trade and lend, like on Poloniex. Bittrex has a lot of cryptocurrencies and tokens.

Bitcoin Forum / New money in the market mainly due to bitcoin.
« on: December 10, 2017, 09:03:06 PM »
Total Market Capitalization was 7 dec nearly 427 USD.
Looking at the price development of various currencies of the last few weeks, it seems that the inflow of new money in the cryptocurrency market is mainly determined by Bitcoin. When the price of bitcoin seems to consolidate a bit, investors are fleeing to the altcoins, so that these prices go up until again new money is put into the bitcoin.
