General Discussion / Re: which eth wallet is best
« on: November 06, 2017, 10:51:14 AM »
I can't see anybody mentioning imtoken wallet. Imtoken wallet gives you updated transactions notification of your tokens. And it can as well do some functions myetherwallet do.

Anyways with your private key at hand you can easily use any of the ETH wallet. For minting and staking I preferred myetherwallet. Also ED holds private key too..but I don't usually advice anybody new to crypto to open wallet on ED

Bitcoin Forum / Re: FBI one of biggest bitcoin holders & selling it cheap!
« on: November 06, 2017, 10:44:20 AM »
Imagine! Bitcoin that worth x23 of the price they sold it now and it would still worth more. But  since FBI is an organization, it wouldn't be much regret to them compared to  the man they seized it from.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin is not an answer to inflation
« on: November 04, 2017, 06:56:16 PM »
Bitcoin may not be perfect answer to inflation but Bitcoin thus possesses both property of stock commodity and currency. Do you know that some stores now accept BTC as payment? That is primary definition of currency. The value of currency also appreciate and depreciate in value even though not as volatile as Bitcoin. Bitcoin is still in its early age to show up full properties. In 10/20years time. While there is much value to it. It can then become whatever any governments want it to be either commodity or currency.

I think this news applies to some exchanges as well, crypto in general has gained double volume from early this year. Only the increment in crypto world makes the news valid as more people registered on exchanges to start crypto investment and trading.

Waves Forum / Re: Waves VS. Ethereum
« on: November 03, 2017, 04:47:22 PM »
I think wave is user friendly than ethereum nut ethereum has more functionalities than waves. For this reason many preffer to choose ethereum in building their smart contract over all other blockchain nodes including waves

Crypto Exchanges / Re: The Crypto /Bitcoin Exchanges Hacked list
« on: November 03, 2017, 02:10:15 AM »
Hackers are getting tough more with their technology, recently Kerpersky antivirus found a trojan malware that hackers have used to transfer thousands of dollars from peoples BTC wallet. But hacking an exchange may seems suspicious kind of, don't you think exchanges are also finding ways to get more from their business? Let think of it both ways

I agree with the Australian government, instead of trying to regulate a decentralized system, why not take more effort into adopting the usefulness of that system instead.

General Discussion / Re: Do you think airdrops should be stopped?
« on: November 01, 2017, 10:34:28 PM »
Airdrop is one of the means to ensure decentralization more so I see no negative effect if the coin/token been airdropped is dumped so far it is a good project but there is effect if it is token or coin gotten from ICO. Airdrop to some extent provides security of funds/investment.

News related to Crypto / Re: South Korea to Regulate Bitcoin as Commodity
« on: November 01, 2017, 10:02:44 PM »
Lmao....Bitcoin has both the property of commodities and currencies, it doesn't really matter as to under which they classified it, what matters is that one more country finally legalize BTC.
Either as a currency or commodity, it would be exchange with a FIAT system. Who cares if they make it a store of value which it is already, BTC is decentralized no country can classify if BTC classify itself.

News related to Crypto / Re: Vitalik Buterin: 90% of ICOs will fail
« on: October 31, 2017, 11:26:31 PM »
Large-scale Ethereum hackathon ETHWaterloo has just concluded. The creator of Ethereum, Vitalik Buterin, made an appearance in his former university town of Waterloo, Canada, and offered his thoughts about one of the ecosystem’s most interesting phenomena, tokens.

“It is an established fact that ninety percent of startups fail,” said Buterin when moderator William Mougayar asked if there is too much emphasis on tokens in the ecosystem right now. “And it should also be an established fact that ninety-percent of these ERC20s on CoinMarketCap are going to go to zero.”

That's a stupidly bold statement, like he has seen the future. Time traveler guy
It is not as he has seen the future, it is already happening. Presently ICO value has changed from what it used to be, it is now been abused as a means to lure money from big investors. Now airdrop is taking the place, what investors only need is to do due diligence in their research. Personally, I do ICO no more because they no longer fulfil their promises and ICO has become a better means to hold investment from growing.
But still, some ICO will still be a success because of the notablesupport to the project such as HEXTRA...
80% of the ICO can fail easily now.

Sorting Box / Re: Airdrop Tokens
« on: October 31, 2017, 11:14:44 PM »
It is good to hodl, but not all coin worth it. In the sense that some coin exist only to benefit the developers such token can be recognised mere from the roadmap. I sell some off to buy into genuine project while I hodl ones with good initiative.
There is always disclaimer in crypto I answered as per the queation asked DYOR.
