Honestly, I am very comfortable using MyEther wallet and Metamask. You can also try Mycrypto.com,  you already have a good list of wallet but no matter how good it is, you are not exempt from risk. You have to keep your private key safe.

 I think IOTA is an excellent idea, compared to other altoins ,iota uses tangle technology instead of blockchain, which makes it to have faster and no transaction fees.
