Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin is a financial bubble??
« on: September 23, 2018, 11:36:39 PM »
Yes, it falls to the category of a bubble. But it shouldn't be compare to the tulip mania of the 17th century (which we heard a lot of analogy defining bitcoin as a bubble). For one bitcoin is limited and scarce, 21 millions in circulation. However, those other bubbles in history is not. Second, we can call that the bubble has been burst, but then later on another bubble will form, so its going to be cyclical.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Spend your Crypto to enhance your life
« on: September 23, 2018, 11:30:23 PM »
Everyone want to make Millions with crypto but it is not a reality that many will have the change to reach. we are in the infancy stage and we have many great opportunities to invest here and there. Furthemore, we have a chance to great return for taking the risk.

A Crypto needs to be usable and not a just a bit of information your store in a wallet without any meaning. we need to have the chance to spend crypto everywhere in the world. it is the world  i want to be part off, and spend them on useful things that i need in my Life

You have a valid point. Crypto needs to be spend, however, let's say for bitcoin though, is not the case anymore. We all know that Satoshi created it to become a on-line payment scheme. However, when the price goes to 0-$20 then $200, many jump it thus it became a store of value or an investment. So its real life usage have taken a back seat. It's now something that you store in wallet and hope that it will grow in the future.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Do you wish you had bought BTC in 2009?
« on: September 23, 2018, 11:24:59 PM »
I have known bitcoin in 2011-2012. I rediscovered it in 2017, but I'm sure that I have stack around 7-11 bitcoin back in the days. The sad part is that I know my address but I lost my private key. I know, you can tell me I'm stupid or something, I just didn't do enough to protect my private key because I never thought that it will grow this big. So that's my biggest regret though, and up to know I still looking at that private key.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Will bitcoin ever reach to 20k again?
« on: September 23, 2018, 11:16:33 PM »
We have been struggling to stay above $6000, why would people think it can go back to $20,000 then? If it has a chance to even get close to it, Bitcoin should be around $10,000 at this point, but look at the current price, its below $7000 so I doubt that we can even get to 5 digits. I'm bullish about it, but I'm also trying to be realistic at this point. So my answer is NO.

I'm sure that majority of the members here have experienced what you have gone through. Its really a expensive lessons to learn. Back in May I also have the same predicament, I needed money that time and I don't want to sell my investments. However, I don't have a choice so I let go and dump everything, and then in the next couple of days the price spike and pump hard.

Ethereum Forum / Re: If you were me, buy Ethereum or EOS?
« on: July 22, 2018, 09:11:28 AM »
I still go with Ethereum as this point. Its still the second best coin to put your money is and its technology droves the ICO project. It the future ICO project will opt to accept EOS as form of investment then it will be a different story. I think EOS has the burden of proof to show how good it was to even with discussions with Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: I don’t buy Bitcoin to become wealthy
« on: July 22, 2018, 09:08:12 AM »
I don’t buy Bitcoin to become wealthy. I buy Bitcoin to avoid becoming poor. There is a big difference as most people will learn in the coming years.
Like my friend said:
Whenever someone asks me, "Why are you buying bitcoin?"
I say, "I'm not buying bitcoin, I'm selling dollars".

If you buy bitcoin on a short term basis, then yes you can avoid becoming poor. But if you are in for the long haul, then there's a possibility that you can become wealthy as evident of the early adopters of it who bought bitcoin at least than a hundred dollars or even those who mine bitcoin using their CPU in early days and have a decent amount stash somewhere.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Strategic trading to earn.
« on: July 22, 2018, 09:02:47 AM »
How do people do trading strategically to earn a lot of tokens even if the market is declining?
If you are a guru in trading here, can you share with us?

I really don't think the guru in trading will just spill their secrets here. But we should be guided by the old adage in trading: Buy low and sell high. That's no secret, but the only question is how to spot good coins that has the potential to make X amount of return in short amount of time. I guess you really have to understand and do our homework here and no one will share their secret success.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: still holding altcoins?
« on: July 20, 2018, 11:52:27 PM »
Yes, I personally believe that there are altcoins that can still exist in the next 5 years that has the potential to give us good profits. I tend to think that the top 10 altcoins will give us this chance. ETH is one, or probably BCH or Monero. There's a lot of them actually so just continue to hold and invest on them while they are still cheap.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: why altcoins have future?
« on: July 20, 2018, 11:05:43 PM »
As crypto currency holders why you believe altcoins have future and can be helpful in our economy even it is decentralized?

Of course altcoins has future, specially legit ones and which the technology will have good used for us. However, for coins that is simply used to make money, they will eventually die specially when the devs from behind are no longer interested on making any improvements.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Finding legit bounty campaigns..
« on: July 20, 2018, 10:48:45 PM »
People are saying that scammed ICOs are now flooding in bounties section.
Im just asking if how to verify if the participated ICOs is not scam?

Its really hard to filter scammy ICO's as they are also well versed in hiding their true intentions. Unless someone really exposes them early, we wouldn't find out until the last minute and after it has ran off with investors money.

Thanks admin. It looks like this is really a deliberate attack coming from them. But I don't think they will succeed in the long run.

Ethereum Forum / Re: Why people want Ethereum to over come Bitcoin
« on: July 20, 2018, 05:44:09 AM »
Why do some people want the Ethereum to overcome Bitcoin in the near future? Is it because they make profits from ETH or what?

Probably that's one reason. But if you will look closely, ETH is much better in terms of technology. Transaction is very quick and fees is cheap. Plus the devs behind are really very active, unlike in bitcoin wherein the devs split up and Satoshi is never to be found.  However, I think it will take a big effort on ETH if ever they really wanted to make an attempt to overcome bitcoin.

We all have to bookmark MEW for the phising issue. Also metamask is one of the safest way to login to MEW...
And Brave & Tor browsers for security issues...
As for me, i always using the easiest way to log in MEW with file key and i don't have any problem and fishing during 2,5 years. May be, because i carefully use a link, what i open and MAC OS more safety in this case.

I just moved to MAC OS a couple of months ago and so far I can say that its safe on MEW. I tried to be very careful not to click any suspicious link and get phished and cry later. I also get a MAC OS to get another layer of security. So far so good.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Bitcoin price is increasing NOW !!!
« on: July 20, 2018, 05:37:14 AM »
Bitcoin price is increasing NOW,
The Market will green soon.
Are you agree ???

Might be a start of another bull run who knows. But it the last couple of days bitcoin is somewhat stablizes, meaning no huge selling in if there is, it was offset by people hurrying up to buy bitcoin at this price. Perhaps we are in consolidating mode again, and might try to break the $8K barrier in the next days or so. Gonna be exciting if we did see it break that barrier and I'm sure that interest of the general public will back.
