Crypto Wallets / Re: Which wallet do you use?
« on: August 17, 2018, 04:15:17 AM »
I use metamask for eth and it is the greatest method for me so far. even when website like MEW was under ddos attack, metamask still protect the users for entering their sensitive information.

My first crypto that i bought after bitcoin is litecoin. At that time, litecoin is the next popular as compare to bitcoin and there is even site that allows litecoin to invest in companies. So it is kind of useful to have litecoin.

I think at the end of the day, it is still your own responsibility to secure your crypto wallets. Do really get hardware crypto wallets as they are currently the safest to protect your fund.

Dash Forum / Re: Dash vs. Neo
« on: August 17, 2018, 04:06:47 AM »
there were less than 100 votes for NEO to get on CoinDeal. look! https://coindeal.com/vote what a pity !!! I hope that he will get in the next vote. for now, if you want to invest in DASH - how the user Prime advises you - this currency is available on the platform.

@Prime, did you invest already in DASH? Which exchange do you use?

From what i can see, neo has one of the highest vote right now on the coindeal. There are many strong supporter for Neo. Overall it is one of the best coin to generate passive income and i love my neo.

Sorting Box / Re: How to hold coins in 2018
« on: August 17, 2018, 04:03:46 AM »
How long should we hold coins?
In the past 3 weeks, despite all the risks, many investors have hold a large number of coins such as TRX, XVG, XRP, ADA, etc. ranging from good to bad coins including DGB, DOGE.

Getting back a little bit with the psychology of human beings: we are always afraid but very pleasure when others talk about profit. When some coin prices are falling, you only see the negative things in it: "It will surely keep falling, so it’s better to stay away". When it turns back up: "It will plunge again sooner or later?" But when it's high up then: "It will no longer fall".

As an investor, you will have to understand a coin before investing money in it. You should evaluate and consider everything before making the decision to buy and hold for a long term (for 6 months to 1 year , or at least 3 months for the most impatient investors). Because one cycle of increase / decrease of a coin usually lasts for 2 months, understanding coin will give you confidence, psychological preparedness before facing the falling prices

The criteria to assess a coin:
1. General information about that coin
2. The purpose of generating the coin
3. The dev team (do more or say much)?
4. What is the current product? In what stage?
5. Are there existing customers? Potential customers?
6. Vision of future coin? Is it realistic or just expressed in words?
7. Scalability?  Can it be accepted by the public? Is it possible to apply to everyday life?

I spend little time tracking the prices. Most of the time is spent on reading news, evaluating coins to make investment decisions. I also spend only 10-15 minutes on technical analysis (It’s not because I view it as unimportant, I’m just get used to it). As a result, I have bought a lot of coin at a very good price. I bought when you were there saying: how can it increase again. I left you far behind, at present, it is greatly safe for all my investments because my investment value has increased by several to tens of times.

You can say whatever in case of rising price, even when you invest in shitcoin. However, when the price falls this low, my balance seems to keep stable thanks to my calculation and comprehensive knowledge about coins. Once investing in a coin, I strongly believe in its future. I choose the right time to buy more coins without any fear of risk!

So how long to hold coins? The answer is that you go learn more thoroughly and comprehensively about the coins you want to invest in and make your decisions.

I love how you dive deep down into the fundamental of the coins instead of ripping off whatever profit you can find. This means that you can be a long term holder and usually long term holder tends to earn more. Any specific coins that you are aiming for?

I believe in the long term for crypto. So I would encourage people to invest in really good coins/crypto and hold it for the long term. In this way, you will have a stable growth in your portfolio and wont be investing in some hype/fake projects that make you have an roi of x0.01

Sorting Box / Re: How can I make money (no scam)
« on: August 17, 2018, 04:00:05 AM »
Faucet can help you to earn without scam. That is the only thing that I think suits you. You should be a risk taker so that you have a good chance to earn big profit more than you throught.

However, faucet is getting too little. You may end up spending like 8 to 15hrs just to earn like $10 or even less. And somehow, by doing faucet, it seems like it is the opposite of risk taker.

Basic Questions about Cryptos / Re: Where to learn crypto trade

You have to figure out your own style and your profoilo. Crypto is more about TA and less on FA. So there is a lot of TA lessons on the net that is applicable for crypto as well.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Ico is the best way to invest
« on: July 23, 2018, 06:41:33 AM »
Ico is the good way to invest  but not the best as there is a lot of scam associated with it. One must be very careful before investing in ico as there is high risk associated with them. More than half of the icos are scams. Research and do your due diligence as there are still good and promising coins

at this point of time, ico seems like not a good investment vehicle. as most of the promising ico also suffer losses, ico is not really a very popular choices right now and we can see more and more ico has difficulties in raising money.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Is crypto for risk takers?
« on: July 23, 2018, 06:39:34 AM »
Crypto is not for risk takers as it may seem but rather for those who are ready to dive deep into a project, study it and base on tangible analysis make feasible conclusions before investing. You cannot enter crypto based on just your risk taking appetite, you need more than that. Study the crypto market, know how it operates and you will make some good money out of it.

Definitely crypto can be a risk taker. I do have seen amazing projects like trakinvest and verime lost like 99% of their values. even projects with great backings like forbes asia under 30 top 30, also have suffer losses.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Too many Altcoins?
« on: July 23, 2018, 06:37:59 AM »
With the wide array of altcoins available in the crypto market, how do you choose which one to invest on, which one to buy and which of these altcoins worth holding?

I would choose those that solve blockchain solutions like solving scaling problems, building dapps, oracle. I believe these will rise in value as it also help blockchain to be more capable.

As someone who work with ico before, i would like to give some ideas on why some ico wants to have kyc even for bounty participants.

One of the most common reason is that the base company is located in a country that has a more crypto regulated countries.
Especially singapore whereby they have crypto regulation that singaporean are not allowed to invest in ico stage. As singapore is very strict to its law, lawyers are more careful with the situation. So even investing time to do bounty can also prone to fall under that category. So that is why they want to kyc is because to make sure that during the ico phrase, no tokens are landed up in Singapore hands.

Another reason is the movement of the money. The KYC is to make sure that the tokens landed in the right hand. So whenever there is a suspected money laundry using the tokens, the company is able to provide data that 100% of the tokens goes to the legit people to prove that the company is not part of the laundry. Imagine that a criminal groups are using your tokens to wash millions of dollars, and the records show that you have given away million value of bounties to random people.
