To be very honest, at some point in the bears season, I've lost interest in cryptos especially after losing so much money. I lost interest to the point I abandoned my bounties and skipped working for about two days. I just had to pick up myself and forge ahead, with hopes of things getting better and the market bouncing back soon enough and my losses will be recouped.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: How long can I wait for bull run?

A lot of things are certain like death and taxes, but what is uncertain is how long the bears market will continue for and how long it will take before the bull run happens. The market is seeing some green today, yet it's a not sign of anything yet.

USDT Forum / Re: USDT is The Most Stable Coin?

USDT is the most popular stable coin in the space and hence the reason it is widely used in the space. There are other's like TUSD, PAX, and USDC, etc, but USDT is the most popular as it is actually backed by the $$

Bitcoin Forum / Re: What Will Be The Lowest Price of Bitcoin This Year,
« on: November 23, 2018, 09:55:49 AM »
With the current state of market, it's hard for anyone to say for a certainty with the price of Bitcoin will be at the end of the year. There are figures currently flying around and like we all know, most of them turn out inaccurate at the fullness of time.

I'm not quite sure we're out of the woods yet. There was a little move in BTC to the $4700 region and then it dropped again to the current of $4639. While being optimistic, we should know that there's no sign of any positive price movements especially as the fundamentals don't point in that direction

A Nano Ledger S isn't a bad idea to store your tokens especially as it supports a wide of tokens from different blockchains. It's relative safe to use and as you know, ultimately, your safety depends on you. Remember you should never purchase a hardware from any third party, buy only from the company directly and get it shipped directly to you. Good luck hodling

XRP - Ripple Forum / Re: Ripple remains stable.
« on: November 20, 2018, 12:44:54 PM »
The XRP whales are just trying to prove a point. That's what this whole holding by Ripple looks to me. At some point, it began to look like a classic pump and dump when it dumped to 8980 satoshis and then it recovered.

Personally, I think nothing more than the ordinary will happen should BTC slip below $5000. Many have been here through the highs, they'll sure be here through the lows. I only feel sorry for those who have been forced to hodl since buying the ATH of $20k. I know someone who bought at $14,000, and he's still breathing. So again, life will go should it go below $5k

Cryptocurrency discussions / Every crypto enthusiast must know this
« on: November 15, 2018, 09:25:24 AM »
This is one very important piece of information that every crypto enthusiast needs to imbibe. That the price of a coin is at it's lowest doesn't mean it's a good bargain, it may as well go from there way lower and eventually become worthless. So, sometimes the much anticipated pump on a coin may never happen leaving people highly disappointed. Always know when to pull the plug on a coin. What's your thought on this?

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Need bitcoin control?
« on: November 14, 2018, 04:05:33 PM »
Each country have their fiat system which is like their identity and as such launching a cryptocurrency will be in direct conflict with their fiat, with the exception of Venezuela which launched the Petro because their economy is in chaos already.  It will not be necessary for individual countries to launch their cryptocurrency, but control Bitcoin/crypto by way of regulation will be more plausible.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: Play safe! This is crypto
« on: November 13, 2018, 01:03:14 PM »
This is absolutely true. Your safety and that of your coins is in your hands at all time.

I know someone who moves his coins from wallet to the exchange every day and move same back after the day's trading. It costs him about $3-$4 to do that everyday and he's fine with it. He tells would rather lose little daily which is almost insignificant to him than lose all should the exchange get hacked

The decision to delay gratification is for me unacceptable. They will usually give flimsy excuses like bounty hunters dumping their tokens at the exchange, so they're delaying payments to protect the price of the token. But they also forget that bounty tokens usually make 1% of the total supply and as such it's not enough to dump the price.

Cryptocurrency discussions / Re: BULL RUN! BULL RUN! BULL RUN!
« on: November 11, 2018, 12:30:09 PM »
You screamed bull run at the top your voice like the market is currently experiencing one that started overnight. The market doesn't respond to sentiments and emotions, it does have a mind of its own. The crave for a bull run by many is that borne out of sheer optimism and a repeat of 2017 which is not even certain. So, here's hoping for the best

Except you have trading skills and can withstand the pressure of day trading, I won't advise you indulge in it. A lot of traders aren't even day traders, some are position traders, this is because day trading is so tasking and risky. Hodling on the other hand does not require so much except for knowledge of which coins to buy and information surrounding them. When to buy and when to sell and for how long to hodl

2018 came with a different manual and the market has been bearish for over 9 months. The truth of the matter is that only projects/coins with use case will survive this season. We've been seeing that a few coins that have hit their par value, they're neither going up or down and this is largely stemmed from the fact that  theirs no demand for them and their devs have abandoned the project.
The market will endure for as long as possible and maybe when things like the ETF get approved, the market will bounce back and the bulls will return. For now, you have to be patient and accumulate the good coins if you can afford to buy more
