Bitcoin Forum / Re: How good is keeping Bitcoin now?
« on: December 07, 2018, 11:45:19 PM »
The other twenty or so well-known bitcoin exchanges that revealed their hard fork contingency plans last week will also list both digital assets (creating another account for their customers, for the “new” forked coin). Yet it is safe to assume these exchanges will also pause deposits and withdrawals during a split event.

It was also revealed last week that JPMorgan has assigned 29-year-old Oliver Harris, the former head of the firm’s fintech program, to a new role investigating potential usages of cryptocurrencies across its corporate and investment banking initiatives. According to the report, Harris will investigate potential crypto custody and payment services.

Based on a technology known as blockchain, Bitcoin exists as ledger entries across a distributed, decentralized computer network with no central authority or government overseeing it.

Bitcoin Forum / Re: Who benefit most on bitcoin investors or miners
« on: December 03, 2018, 08:26:05 PM »
Bitcoin is created through an energy-intensive "mining" process that uses high computing power to solve a complex mathematical equation, proving an anonymous miner used the process the network agreed upon to build the blockchain record of transactions.

I think furthermore, the research provider referred to the world’s first and foremost cryptocurrency as a “one-trick pony”, arguing that Ethereum has superior blockchain technology and that the limit of its application is “sky itself.”

Automation is redefining the culture of our society. Think about how robotics has revolutionized the manufacturing industry, or how self-serve kiosks have completely transformed experiences in airports, fast food restaurants, grocery stores and more.

Ethereum Forum / Re: Do you think ETH will die ?

Currently, EOS is the only “Ethereum Killer” I “researched” and from the sounds of it, it has not been an easy start for them with recent hacks. I am unaware of others but I don’t see anything replacing the Ethereum Network as a better global transactions network.

You can tinker around the edges and get really into the details, but I try to make this stuff as simple as possible. I’ve especially tried to distill exercise, a notoriously contentious topic, down into a simple, “universal” recommendation – move frequently at a slow pace throughout the day, lift heavy things twice or thrice a week, and sprint once in a while.

I think bitcoin is different from other currencies in that it has been designed from the code up to appreciate in value, rather than depreciate. Understanding what this means is essential for investing in bitcoin.

Personally, I (mistakenly) predicted an 80% drop in September (because of the China Ban) and I remember how wrong I was at the time, since Bitcoin quickly regained steam without any issues at all and reached even new All Time Highs by the end of last year (2017).

I think the entrepreneur says he’s staying away from bitcoin for now, and may look into alternative cryptocurrencies such as ripple – “something with more substance – but only a little more”, although he admits that “substance” isn’t the best word for cryptocurrencies at the moment.

They rather not worry about solving their problems and at end of the day pop a cold beer and watch their favourite reality show and turn off the brain. Sad but true. However it is highly understandable to have the fear of the unknown, no one knows what the crypto market be like in months to come. No one has any idea what the stock market will do either.

You would visit new families, distributing Bounty packs and offering a free photographic service to capture precious first memories. Don’t worry if you haven’t done this kind of role before, we would invest in you, and give you all the equipment and training that you need.

I think investors they have spent years and years amassing the money that you so easily want to take from them and they’re still continuing to work hard and taking risks in order to make some more.
